    I ordered a container house from Snapspace solutions. The contract/agreement was and I paid for fabricating, cost of new containers, bottom spray foam insulation, interior 2x4 framing and installing windows/doors. It was finished and installed. Less than 6 months after that the door began to leak and then one of the windows began to leak. I consulted a few local carpenters and every single one said the doors and windows are installed improperly. There are no any kind of flashing installed above the windows and doors. Just a matter of time before all the windows and doors begin to leak. The leaks damaged the door, window frame as well as installed solid oak board flooring. I reached out to Snapspace. I provided video and pictures to review. I received a huge pushback ranging from "you provided us bad windows" to "you should let us finish the unit completely so you can heat it in winter". The windows are brand new high quality (400s) ***** and ******** and I never heard anything about the windows and door until the moment I told Snapspace they leak. When 4 experienced carpenters tell you there is no way one line of caulk/silicon placed on the outside between the metal wall and window/door trim can hold the water out and keep the structure watertight. With expansion/contraction in a temperate climate it's a ticking time bomb. SnapSpace finally agree to send their contractor to check in person and find a way to repair and resolve the issue. Promised to visit within 3-4 days. I followed up in a week- nobody went to check. I stressed the urgency as the house was actively leaking during any rain. I was pretty much told to wait or deal with it myself in a very rude way. 3 weeks later still no update and the company stopped responding to my email/calls/text messages. I think they did send the contractor or were fully aware of the cost and decided to ignore- too expensive to repair/replace. Probably thinking worst case- if the customer sues (unlikely) would pay same amount.
