    I needed a large dumpster to remove trash a tenant left at my property. They promptly brought the dumpster and accepted my payment. The receptionist told me I have it for 7 days and a daily fee will be applied after that and to call when I'm ready that they will come get it. Told me about the weight of 1 ton and a fee applied beyond that. We had a winter storm imminent so I called and asked to have the garbage removed because I don't want to pay for them to remove wet, snowed on trash. The receptionist was very rude and said I owed them 40 more dollars. After resolving that issue she said I have to call in advance to have it removed. After speaking to *** who was also extremely rude she told me she will dump the garbage in my yard and give me a refund. I made all the effort to have this removed over a week ago and have had the driveway plowed and maintained the entire time. They refuse to come get it. My fear is they will keep this charge going and I will owe them more than what I paid for the dumpster. I don't believe this is good or fair business.

    ****** was not charged for the 2 waisted trips we made because his driveway was not accessible due to the ice from the winter weather. All of ******** rent fees were waived. He was not charged for any rent on this container. ****** was charged the initial rate of $575.00 and $175.00 from the weight of the contents in the dumpster. When ****** made the request for the removal we were already booked for when he requested. The additional $137.50 was from a previous bad debt from 2023 and 2019 that he was aware of and paid for when he ordered the roll off container.  A detailed statement from this roll off, his previous debit and his weight ticket can all be provided upon request.

    Riverside delivered a dumpster to my home after being very aggressive and unhelpful on the phone. The steep delivery fee was paid as well as the first month charge for the dumpster. The following month was attempted and supposedly declined, although coming from an account that is used for my business. No other attempts to collect funds were made and riverside never informed me of any issues. I received one email with a bill and no others. No phone calls from them attempting to make payment so I was not aware it had not been paid. I saw no other attempts on my debit card for retrieve payment. I happened to check my email about a week before they came to remove the dumpster. Uniformed might I add. To see a link to a portal I was not aware of. I followed the link from the portal to see an extremely aggressive and rude message stating they would be dumping garbage on my lawn if I did not pay. The dumpster was removed two days later and I had one phone call the day before it was removed stating my bill needed to be paid. Yesterday I received a letter in the mail threatening to take me to small claims over a bill I up until recently wasnt aware hadnt been paid. Many yelp reviews from other customers state how horrible they have been to them as well. The company has terrible management.

    We did send Miss **** and many messages from to her email that she provided us. We sent A welcome letter in August we sent in October that her auto pay declined in November that we were holding the account until it was paid in December that we were going to re remove the dumpster. And then again in December at the end of the month that we were going to remove it that week, she paid 1 payment when She signed up and that was in August and she paid 2 months but then never paid again. So we you know, the balance is $383. She pays $72 a month. We never got a payment we called let us see on. 1028 about the decline of our card. We called on 11 6 and sent an email. We we sent another email on 12 4. We left a message on our phone on 1218, 1226 and they removed the can on 114, if you have any questions, my name is **** ************. Thank you, bye bye

    I have been a customer of ********************** for a few years, Around July 29th I called canceled my service and asked them to come get Dumbster. A couple weeks went by and I got a bill for month of Aug. I called again said I canceled we had moved and needed dumbster gone the women on the phone said that she would remove the August bill and I just needed to pay Julys bill and they would come get the dumbster. The July bill was paid that day. Aug 22nd came and dumbster was still there, my wife called and told them that as of Aug 23 the home would no longer be ours and the dumbster was no longer our responsibility since we had paid and requested a few times that it be removed we wanted our account closed and the card removed off their system. A few hours later the dumbster was removed. Aug 26th while looking at my bank account there was a charge for $75.00 from Riverside disposal. I called them right up and got voicemail, I left a message. After the message was left we got a receipt for the $75 charge for removal of the dumpster. No one told us there would be a charge, no invoice given ahead of time and there is nothing on their site stating this is their policy. They were not authorized to take this money! As you can see the ******************* was sent the exact same time, after the money was taken!

    To Whom It May Concern, 

    This email is in regards to complaint #******** filed on 8/27/2024 by **** *******. 

    Mr. ******* request to cancel service came in on August 22nd, 2024. If the request had come in anytime between 7/29/24 to 8/15/24 the request wouldn't have been able to be processed due to the past due balance on the account. Our company policy is that accounts need to have a zero balance before dumpsters are removed. Attached is a bill showing that the payment did not go through in July and the payment was not received until August 15th. In addition to the monthly bills that are sent out, there was a notice of the past due balance sent on August 13th, 2024. There was no point of contact until the 22nd after sending out the bills and the notice of interruption to service. 

    The removal fee is a company policy for all transportation. Mr. ******* paid a delivery fee when the dumpster was delivered in 2020. There was a bill sent on August 26th for the $75.00 removal fee to match the payment that was processed. These bills are sent out automatically through email.

    The complaint was not due to how long it took to pick up however contact was made several times and no one said anything about a past due balance until Aug 15, we were moving and was adding Additional dumbster dumps we didnt pay attention to the amount that was trying to be charged in July. However after speaking to them on Aug 15 they decided at that time to tell us they wouldnt be picking Dumbster up until balance was paid. NOTHING was said about a fee to pick up. The past due balance WAS PAID that day.  In Aug 22nd my wife called stated that as of the 23rd the house was no longer ours and we would not be responsible to the dumbster. The past due was verified as being paid. We were credited Aug bill but ABSOLUTELY nothing was said about a pick up charge. As you can see from the statements I provided I received the bill seconds after they charged my card. They didnt have permission for this charge. I was not notified in a timely matter.  I have requested that my card be reimbursed for $75 the debit card removed off your system and our account closed. We will NOT ever go with this company again.

    In response to the customers rejection of response to their complaint: 

    This customer was on automatic payment thus giving us permission to run their card for all charges associated with the account. Customer was notified of their past due balance on 7/25/24 when an automatic notice was sent out when their payment declined, again when their bill was sent on 7/31/24 and notified by email again on 8/13/24. 

    All customers are made aware of delivery and removal fees upon setup of service. This particular customer set up their service in 2020.

    FACTS are, we were NOT notified there would be a pick up charge! The statement and recite were sent minutes apart (copies with date & time were attached to first message. During 4 phone calls that took place in a 4 week period NO one said anything about a charge to pick up the dumbster. Yes we were on automatic payments but they were told on 8/22/24 that our was house was being sold the following day and we would no longer be responsible for the dumbster. My wife told them to remove her debit card and close the account. At that time permission to charge the card was withdrawn by law they cant charge the card. Nothing was mentioned about any charge for pick up and as you can see on my attachment the date was done AFTER permission was revoked. You can not charge a card without permission.
