      On March 11 2025 I placed an advanced order of 5 apple trees. Nearly ****** of mine was collected and shipment was expected mid to late April. On May 15th I received the insulting cancelation letter with an invitation to a surplus sale on apple trees despite canceling my order due to weather, staff illness, and tech issues. They are also heavily advertising this sale on ******** with pictures of rows of apple tress presumably I bought months ago, as they used my money for who knows what. It's shameful and there are many similar consumers affected as I am

      On December 24 2022, I pre ordered a total of (7) "Bare Root" Pear trees from Fedco Seeds, tree division. The total amount was for $321.16. The trees were shipped to me in April 2023. Upon arrival/inspection I made a complaint to Fedco regarding the damaged trees/poor quality. I was immediately refunded for only (1) of the (7) trees, a total of $45.88. Their return/warranty policy states that if the trees do not "leaf" out by July a refund will be issued. They informed me to wait and allow the remaining trees to grow and if no "leaf" out occurs by July to contact them. I contacted them in July to let them know that only (2) of the (7) Pear trees "leafed" out and were growing healthy. They asked me to send them images of all the trees, which I did. They then responded that because I planted the fruit trees in containers that I voided the warranty, even though two of the seven trees were extremely healthy and growing well. They pointed me to their warranty which clearly states that "Perennials" can be temporarily planted in containers, which all fruit trees are, Perennials. So I responded, I don't understand, your warranty states that "Perennials can be temporarily planted in containers" and they told me that doesn't include fruit trees, even though the warranty does not specify that. Point being, fruit trees are perennials, planting the fruit trees in 20 gallon containers for the first season is okay, clearly being that two of the seven trees are healthy and lastly, I have a formal education in Crop production and am very familiar of plant growth and how to properly care for crops. This is wrong of them and they are clearly not honoring their own warranty. I have tried all other avenues to resolve this matter, now I am contacting you the BBB. Thank you for your time.
