    ***** ****, owner of Dato Builders, was hired to build my lakefront dream house in *********. He cut corners, used cheap materials, worked only 2 to 4 hours a day, trashed my property, and stole money from me, etc. My house was built so poorly that in order to repair it I have to move out for a minimum of 3 months because the entire house has to be gutted and repaired including the foundation, roofing, windows, siding, shiplap and insulation due to water damage, electrical work, septic, etc. My house basically has to be torn down to the framing and rebuilt. I sued him in 2023 and won the lawsuit because the evidence spoke for itself and in *************************************** $230,000 in damages. He is still trying to convince the court that he "stands by his work." I do not recommend hiring this business.
