    McKusick Petroleum has provided us with oil for our furnace and propane for our kitchen stove since 2016. In 2022 we decided to look into replacing our oil tank.We contacted McKusick for a quote. A tech convinced us that we should replace the entire furnace. We also asked that the company cease filling our oil tank so that we could run it dry before work would begin.18 Mar, McKusick filled our oil tank. While there the weight of their truck severely damaged our driveway.We complained and were told that they could pump the oil back out of the tank. They sent out a truck; but the driver was afraid that if they parked on the driveway it would cause more damage. The driver called the office and was told to leave the oil. We were assured that we would not have to pay for the oil, as the delivery was their mistake.10 Jun McKusick provided us with quotes for various furnaces. Since our tank was full and oil could not be removed, though, we decided to wait before having any work done.In Sep we had trouble lighting our stove and smelled gas in the house. We called McKusick to request a techs aid. They refused to send one because we did not respond to their quote. It was at this time we were informed, although we were not responsible for an oil payment, that McKusick was no longer interested in doing business with us. We had to contact another provider to prevent a gas fire.Received a $674.85 bill 2 Oct for heating oil. We called again. A statement showing that our account was paid was sent to us 12 Oct. This statement also shows that our propane was paid, which would support our needs until Mar 2023.Fall 2022 I found another provider for heating oil and propane. McKusick assured me 3 times that they would call prior to removing their tank to ensure that we were set up with the new equipment before removal. 12 Dec we found the tank was gone. When I called to complain ***************** refused to put the tank back citing an oil debt from March.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. If the business fails to respond to BBB I will be forced to look into governmental reconciliation.
