    As a guest for over 20 years at ******************* in ********, **, I went there last week and was disappointed in the changes to its menu and other services. I have a gift card purchased during ***** and wanted to discuss it with the current manager *****************************. I sent an email to which he didn't respond. I left a voicemail which he didn't return. I spoke with the front desk help who spoke with him and said that he was very busy with meetings but that he couldn't help me with the gift card issue. I sent him another email asking that he call or email me directly to discuss my concern, to which he hasn't responded. I find it highly unprofessional to ignore an email and phone call request from a customer with a concern. There is always time to pick up the phone and certainly to respond to an email in the digital age. His unprofessionalism is not in keeping with the spirit of this Inn as I've come to know it over two decades. The changes to the Inn since I purchased the gift card are disappointing and drastic to say the least. Its dining and hospitality options have decreased, de-valuing my purchase. At first, I wanted a refund of the balance since I can no longer use it in the same way due to the changes. However, ********************** dismissive and unprofessional attitude to a long-time guest has made the entire process distasteful. I would simply like the dignity of a response from the manager, preferably to my phone call, so that I can discuss the issue in a respectful way and come to some type of resolution. Thank you.
