On 8-1-2022 at 9:08 a.m. I called the Animal Hospital of South Gorham to schedule an appointment for my duck who appeared to have a broken left wing. I had used this hospital in the past for two of my other ducks who needed medical treatment. When I made contact with a female employee of that business I gave her my name and explained to her I had an injured duck with a possible broken wing and needed to schedule an appointment to have an exam or possible x-ray. My cell phone was on speaker at this time so that my girlfriend could hear my conversation with this employee. The employee requested I hold for a minute. Moments afterwards the employee came back on the phone and informed me that since it had been three years since any of my ducks were seen by the business they would not treat my duck, that I was now considered a new client and that they were not taking on new clients at this time. I questioned this employee as to how my duck could received medical treatment for its wing injury. **** employee replied back stating I would have to seek another veterinary clinic. I further explained to this employee that my ducks had been very healthy for these past years and that there was no need to have had them looked at. That over several years I had paid $3000 plus dollars at that animal hospital for my other ducks. **** female employee replied again I would not be able to have my duck treated at that business. Our conversation ended. On 8-2-2022 my girlfriend called Animal Hospital Hospital of South Gorham and left a message for the female doctor to call her. **** female doctors husband is also a doctor at this hospital. My girlfriend that afternoon missed a phone call from the female doctor. On 8-5-2022 at 5:45 p.m. my girlfriend took a phone call from the female doctor.. **** call too was put on speaker for both of us to hear. Told she was not going to treat our injured duck, the female doctor then rudely hung up on my girlfriend which was very unprofessional.
