I left a voicemail on. Friday evening requesting a callback/follow up for a quote on my garage door. Tried giving all the details I could. The following Monday early evening I had not gotten a response. I messaged using their website. I get a response Tuesday asking for an address so a tech could check it out. No response. 4pm Wednesday someone shows up, takes some pictures. Says he's not sure if the part is easy to replace or the entire chain. Says someone should call with a follow up regarding price and to call them if I hear nothing by a week. Next day 2 guys show up unannounced as I'm going into a meeting. Saying they're here for the door and shouldn't be long. Let them in the garage thinking they're assessing more, so I explained what happened. I go into my meeting, hear a knock 20ish minutes later saying they're all set and show the door working with clearly a new chain. So in my confusion thinking I was getting a quote and realizing they did the repair I asked again how much. They call an office and get $255.... While I can appreciate the repair quickness I ASKED for a quote. I did not say come repair , fix or switch out anything. So now I have a lovely invoice for a service I just wanted a quote on. Horrible communication
