    The following is based on a complaint sent to The ****************************** earlier this fall. December 31, 2022 dropped of our 2009 GMC ****** for body work to be completed, approximately two week job. We paid for the work in full, in advance. The amount $8,344.00. In December of 2022, **** notified me that he had all the parts materials (text reference available). Throughout the next 18 months we asked how the work was coming along and towards the last approx. 8 months of this 18 month period we requested a completion date and a few times asked for our truck to have the key in it so we could pick it up, we just couldnt wait any longer for this 2 week job; we needed our truck to help us in our business (we needed it to haul trailers and supplies to and from job sites). We were told over and over our truck was going in the garage on this day or that day (for specifics, I can send screenshots of messages). On the day of pick up (June 17, 2024), **** texted, said he already gave us $1,000s of dollars of work for free and couldnt give us anymore free. This is the reason he went back on his word to replace rocker panels we paid for (note, this is mentioned later in form. Also note we did not pay labor to have rocker panels replaced because he said he feels so bad and replacing them free of charge is the least he can do). He supposedly sandblasted the undercarriage of our truck. It likely wouldnt have been needed if it hadnt sat so long (just shy of 18 months for a job paid for in advance; were without our truck for 18 months for a 2-week job). (I have many details that I had to eliminate because only ***** characters allowed in BBB Review)We have a new quote from a reputable company and will be having ***** work redone, an additional nearly $10,000. Thats a lot of money, but we cant waste anymore time with **** It is simply exhausting to communicate with him! I have documentation of everything Is shared.
