There was a contract signed on July 3, 2024 to have our home scrapped and repainted. The work didn't start until September 4, 2024. The deposit was given on July 3, 2024 upon signing the contract. The amount given was $5,000. On September 5, 2024, he came requesting another $7,000 stating the job was half done, after only being here for roughly 3 hours. On September 13th, he pressure washed the house. On Monday September 16, 2024 he came back and claims he used 12 gallons of paint to paint a very small portion of our house. On Tuesday September 17th, I requested an invoice for the cost thus far on our home. At this point he claimed to be dropping it off on Saturday. Then he said it was mailed. He left the job on Monday September 16th and never returned to our property. A letter was written and mailed to request that he set up a time to finish the job and give us an invoice. The letter was mailed on October 22, 2024. There has been no contact from him since September. Our home has been left exposed to the weather with a mess from what little work he did on our property.

I hired a contractor to build an addition on my house. I gave him money to buy the materials, he only ordered half the required material and still has my money and now says he does not have time to complete my project but wont give me the remaining money left or buy the materials and send them to me. I am owed about $3600. The check marked materials are what I have received.
