    Sewall House is a place for healing. I came to Sewall House feeling completely broken. I left feeling I had found my inner strength, peace, and joy. Amrita and ***** and their helpers made all of us feel completely cared for, supported, and loved. They live that mission fully. They will help you determine what you need and guide you to finding it. Daily meditation, yoga, and delicious vegetarian meals support physical and psychological healing. Sewall House is a lovely historic building in which you can settle in and feel at home. Nearby is a lovely lake, several hikes and a spectacular waterfall. Sitting in the waterfall is a truly transformative experience. If you need to reconnect to your center, your joy, or yourself, I highly recommend Sewall House.

    Relax and rejuvenate in scenic northern ***** while learning about how yoga can provide you with tools to improve your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being on and off the yoga mat. ***** and her team are extremely knowledgeable and genuinely care about their guests, and you will feel like you are at home at the Sewall House retreat. The house is just beautiful; I felt like I was walking into a history book, with many original artifacts in each room. Also be sure to read ******* book before you go or while you are there, Balancing with Bunions, which will give you great insight into the history of the house and understand how the yoga retreats came to be. The local hikes, swims, biking, ****************, and kayaking give you plenty to do in your down time. Lovely stay and highly recommend!

    eel very lucky to have found the ****** House. It is the real deal. The yoga instructors are all incredibly skilled. All 3 there had over several decades of experience. i learned many new techniques (breath as well as posture) while there that I will use for years to come. The workouts themselves were gentle enough for a beginner with modification options for the more advanced. I feared a retreat would be too much of a workout to do daily but it was very do-able (yet I did get workout), The food was superb. It was farm fresh, super healthy, and beyond delicious. I was also surprised by how beautiful the nature in the area was and at how many high quality hikes were nearby. While there I swam (and kayaked) in a lake, meditated by the river, swam in a waterfall, hiked daily and picked blueberries. Overall, a rare gem of a place. It stays in your heart long after you leave. I tried another yoga retreat closer to ******** last summer and the quality of the instruction (as well as good and hikes) made the slightly longer trek to northern ***** well worth it. If you are on the fence, dont hesitate. You will not regret it!

    Here is what I experienced when I visited that will stay with me. Awesome, individualized fun and meaningful yoga from extremely experienced yoga instructors!! Yoga where I am. Insanely good and comforting meals - yum, yum, yum! Brilliant, deep blue lake with smooth kayaking under a big sky. Hiking within the trees. Horse back riding amid the fragrant spruce and pine. Waterfall symphony among the rocks. Fresh, clean air and water. Cuddles from lovebug pooch and kitties. Big comfy bed in a bright big room. *****, jacuzzi, hot showers. Cozy areas within a historic registry home. Excellent. Fabulous. Exquisite. Soothing.

    *****, July 2022 I can just recommand 100% this place, if you want to have an easy break and get a strong relaxing feeling. The place is beautiful ( full of nature around , lake, river, waterfalls). Yoga classes and meditation were available for beginner and made my body and mind feeling so relaxed. The food was georgeous delicious and so healthy in the same time. ***** and the ladies of her team were so great with us and took care of us. I felt to be in a warming place and the place to charge myself with energy and relax myself . Thanks ****** ****** ***** and Penina . It was fantastic to meet you and share this break with you.
