    Had a driveway paved about a year ago. Company was on time, they were pleasant to deal with and the asphalt mix seemed to show up in good condition. Prep work and grading was excellent. My only complaint, and I think it's a bit of an issue, is that the compaction was not done with the correct equipment and/or not enough time was spent compacting. The driveway is still very soft. I have had to block the driveway to *** and ***** because of it. It doesn't take much in the way of high temps to cause tracks and tear outs from turning a wheel on it. We have learned to treat the driveway very gently, as such, it's a roll of the dice when anyone else drives on it. Do your homework regarding the proper level (weight/time) of compaction that is needed. Tracks from residential vehicles just driving over the asphalt is NOT an industry standard.
