On September 23rd, my mother took our family cat, ******** to this emergency vets office with a concern about her eyes, which were oozing a green fluid. After being seen and also getting an X-ray to check her lungs because she was having a hard time breathing, they told us that she had a tumor in her chest and the best thing to do would be to euthanize her. My whole family was heartbroken at this news. I came home from college to say my last goodbyes to her. It was heartbreaking and traumatizing. My mother cried so hard she had two nosebleeds. So we take her back on Sunday like they told us to do to put her down. We arrive at 4:30pm and check in. An hour passes and my mother calls again to check how long itll be. They hadnt even put us in line to be seen. When we checked in they were very rude in telling us there were people ahead of us and we had to wait. We were there for over 3 hours and saw many people come and go before us while we waited. And many people left without the pets they entered with, crying. When we asked about ashes they told us we didnt want to do that because it cost too much. They made our decision for us. To start off the malpractice, seemingly just killing off pets they dont want to deal with or bother treating. The rude attitude while we were questioning the wait time. If it was a bad day they could have just told us and we would have come in a different day. But they just kept us waiting in the parking lot for 3 hours. It was a traumatic experience and I want to make sure this never happens to any other pet owners. On top of that, we have gone to our usual vets office to get her examined again. And they are running tests, something the emergency vet never even offered. And my cat could live for a while. As opposed to just being euthanized without a reason.
