I bought a 2014 ****** 4 Runner on 7/28/2024 at Crafts Cars. 4 days after buying two lights came on (Check engine and Trak off). I called the dealership and came back in to have it "fixed". This happened 3 more times in the next 17 days. I then drove the vehicle to ******** where eight again experienced these two lights along with a burning smell and smoking in the rear of the vehicle. I called crafts cars. They would not let me return the vehicle even though it was under warranty. They said they would fix the issues which included an oil Leak, coolant leak, new serpentine belt etc. I drove the car back up to ***** for them to fix the issues. One week later the vehicle has been making terrible noises so I brought it into a shop in **, where I live. The mechanic informed me this vehicle is not road worthy and a complete rust bucket. It has oil and coolant leaking onto the brakes, spray painted or coating on rust all over the vehicle trying to hide the rust issues, and corrosion all over the vehicle. Craft Cars never fixed any of the issues. They tried to hide them and knowingly sold me a vehicle not only not road worthy but a vehicle that needs over $8,000 in repairs just to be drivable.

**** did in fact purchase a 2014 ****** 4Runner from our Dealership on 07/29/2024. A couple days after, **** notified us that his check engine light/trac light turned on which we found due to a faulty Neutral Safety Switch. This had fixed the issue and **** was on his way. Approximately a week later, his check engine light turned on again, this time for an **** code. Our service department determined that there was a leak at the ********************, which we ended up replacing. This all was while **** was still in the State of ***** for work. A couple of weeks later the check engine light turned on again and he brought it to a ****** Dealership in the State of ********. They had a short list of items brought to ****** attention including a small fuel leak (diagnosed from an **** code). Our warranty states that any issues need to be confirmed and repaired at our facilities, so we had **** send us the list from the dealer and had him bring the vehicle back to us to verify any issues. We prepared by ordering any parts we may need to make sure ****** stay was as short as possible. We confirmed the issues, replaced the transmission pan gasket, an o-ring in the fuel system causing the **** code, replaced the rear brake shoe hardware, a serpentine belt, and a front splash shield all for goodwill repairs. We thanked **** for his patience and gave him a fuel card to help with travel costs. We fixed all the concerns from a ****** Dealership in *********

This morning, I received a note from our service department stating that **** is at another ****** Dealership in his home State of ********* and wanted to speak with someone. I called and left **** a message asking him to call me back when he gets the chance. I'm hoping we can come to a resolution fair to both parties.

I bought a 2017 ***** Silverado from this car dealership. *** had to return it five different times with the problems never being fixed the transmission is junk they told me they put a new one in and lied and said, after the fact it was a remanufactured transmission. I cant even drive my truck to work when I do have it. This is ridiculous.

What transpired with ************** was certainly an unfortunate situation. Shortly after the purchase of his truck, he experienced some transmission issues. With the recommendation from GM, we had a fluid flush performed along with a transmission relearn, all done at no cost to ***** of course. After returning ****************** truck to him, it wasn't long after he called again complaining that he was experiencing the same issues with his transmission. We confirmed the issue and promptly ordered a remanufactured crate transmission with a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty, a greater warranty than one if you were to purchase it from the Chevrolet dealer (that also only offers a remanufactured transmission as well). The day we received the transmission is the day we started the replacement on ****************** truck with having one of our technicians working on a weekend to get it done as soon as possible. We were able to deliver his truck back the following week after making the swap out. A couple of days later ************** called and let us know the transmission was leaking fluid. We confirmed that the truck had a small leak coming from the new transmission pump seal. We worked diligently with the transmission company to find a solution without voiding his warranty. As soon as we got confirmation, we replaced with transmission pump seal in his truck on approximately 02/19/2024. Today, I received the notification of the complaint on BBB from ************** from 02/13/2024. We certainly sympathize with him as we know it's frustrating having issues with a vehicle, especially with one he just purchased and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused him. I hope we have made things right with him since his initial complaint and look forward to working with him in the future.
