My deposits are consistently placed on 3-5 week HOLDS. This bank has done this even on my paycheck deposits. This is being done in spite of similar deposits, from the exact same companies actually clearing & being vetted before. My very legitimate paycheck deposits from the ************************************ and other verified deposits are consistently labeled as possible scams, tricks; frauds ; alteredfictitious and illegitimate. My account has been in good standing for over 3 years.

    To Whom It May Concern:

I have worked with the Deposit Operations and Risk teams here at NorState FCU to gather more information regarding this member complaint.  What I did find out that there has been a trend of potentially fictitious checks being deposited to the member's account through our Mobile Deposit function.  In researching these checks in the past, it was discovered that some were in fact fictitious so within the federal regulation, Regulation CC, extended holds were placed on mobile deposits by the member to not only protect the credit union against fraud, but also our member.  I did also find out that the check in question should have cleared the system and made available.   Our apologies for this situation but again, we are only making these decisions in the best interest of the member and the credit union overall.   We have also responded to the complaint filed with our regulator, ****, and have not received any advised actions from them which means the complaint that was filed was resolved within regulatory guidelines and did not deem any response at this time.   Thank you.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.

The response contains BLATANT FABRICATIONS and lies and provide impetus for future lawsuits for defamation of character.

Please ask this individual to provide PROOF of any and all fictitious checks and deposits that were made to my account immediately.

Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

I have attached a detailed memorandum that we have sent to our federal regulator, **** explaining the events leading up to these complaints filed by the member.  Hopefully this will shed light on the reasons behind the check holds and some of the issues that did raise red flags in the past.  Again, as inconvenient as I know this can be for our member, at the end of the day it's done to protect the member, as well as the credit union from fraudulent losses.

This person neglected to detail the fact that EVERY single large deposit CLEARED the bank within 3 days!

This person also failed to detail the fact that for each deposit, (over 3 total), how they KEPT the money,  for the their own egregious personal financial gain, for ***** DAYS EXTRAAFTER the checks cleared the bank. This egregious act was even done for my PAYROLL deposits!

This is a terrible, discriminatory and incompetent banking staff that will hopefully be fined by every regulatory institution possible.
