  A 1 GROUNDWORK was hired by me to put a drive way in to the property. The drive way is less then 1 years old and is all ready falling apart and my vehicle is sinking into the driveway to the point that my vehicle is bottoming out. This make for a health and safety hazard as you sink into the driveway even while walking. Now my vehicle not can emergency response vehicles use my driveway. We paid A 1 GROUNDWORK $6,000 USD to put the driveway in. This work was contracted and done around or about Aug 1, 2022 and did not complete the job untill on or about July 1, of 2023. So he claims our driveway is finished but clearly it is not. I have pictures and would like to get this matter resolved. However due to these and other circumstances and his actions he is no longer welcomed on the property. I am asking for him to cover the bill for another company to do his job properly and currently and finish the job to completion. Thank you for your time and I look forward to a response.

  #1. I contacted the local fire department to see if the person who sent this complaint to has reached out to them. Spoke with the fire chief and his response was that the **** was NEVER contacted over this matter. #2. Driveway was completed in 2022, it has been a year and a half so why did they pay me and say how nice a job I did. #3. A health and safety hazard only exists now because of 2 storage containers that were placed there. #4. The person who is complaining did not have the money to pay me and I had to wait months to be paid in full. He could have said no and not paid me if the driveway wasnt to his liking and he claimed he was super satisfied and apologized for making me wait to be paid. Seems bizarre that he waited so long to complain and the other circumstances that he speaks about in his complaint is retaliation over his terrible cruelty to 2 calves which have been removed from his care. This is certainly retaliation.

  Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

  #1 The drive way job was allegedly completed in 2023by A 1 Groudwork. All that was done in 2022 was tree removal and group prep for houses and for the well to be put in. 

  #2 driveway work was not started until 2023. And A 1 Ground work just stopped working and claimed that the job was completed. 

  #3 The connexes that you speak of are not in the road nor are they in the drive way. So that point is completely errevalent.  As far as when the drain operator was here to place the connexes the drain operated could not place connexes where we wanted as he could not make it up the driveway with out sinking. 

  #4 The fire department and fire chief of the town of Oakfield never contacted me nor has he come out to look at the driveway. And No one is at the *************** and any set hours. So making contact is almost near impossible. 

  #5 AND FINAL POINT

  As for the calves situation Your Business and one of your clients trespassed unto my family property and ILLEGALLY TRESSPASSED and SHOT our CALF and had the town STEAL our Other CALF when there was nothing wrong with the animal. Last time I checked you were a Ground working company not a Licensed Veterinarian. We have your company and a client of yours on video MURDERING our baby cow. And A 1 Groundwork was the one to tell us to put the cows in the field across from is client with the same week that the murdered our cow and had oir other cow stolen. A 1 Groundwork committed black mail in order to get the job done and paid for and completed and or castrated this entire deal. And last time I checked a Ground working company has nothing to do with animals in a field that the field has no scheduled work to be done on it. Nor did it ever have plans to have work done on. A 1 Groundwork has spoken ill against us to the local towns people.  And no one knew the situation nor did any know that we were working with a VETENARIAN. Because it was no one else's business besides ours and the veterinarian. You claimed on the day of A 1 Groundwork shooting our calf that you did not know how to get a hold of us yet I called you the day before this incident accident to talk about the driveway. You also claimed you did not know who owned the property wet with in 2 week before A 1 Groundwork participated in the murder of our calf A 1 Groundwork ******* who claims he is the owner of the business yet *** and ********** claims otherwise. As *** and ********** claims it is a woman run and operated business. *********************************** again with in 2 weeks before the participation in the murder of our calf and trespassing of our land all cought on film had just inquired to buy 10 acres cors of land that the calves were on and we told him no. So again A 1 Ground work knew who owned the land and WERE THE **** THAT RETALIATED against US by trespassing and murdering our calf and stealing our other calf. Mind you this was all done on film and there was a fictitious owner surrender form.

  So I'm closing I would like to say we have done nothing to provoke or to slander A 1 Groundwork  yet they want to personally attack us and have the town help attack us personally instead of handling this situation as a professional. And instead of bringing up personal issues that have nothing to do with the proper completion of the driveway you want to go off topic and try and slander my name and family's reputation. THIS IS HIGHLY Inappropriate and is not something you would or should expect from a ********************* All we are asking for is that A 1 Ground work be held liable for the lack of drive way work completion. Again A 1 Groundwork is no longer aloud on the property due to unprofessional acts and actions. I just want my driveway complex as I have paid for a job to be completed. The pictures attached are from a small rain storm not from mud season.

  #1. The driveway was completed in 2022, but because of lack of funds, the complainant did not pay until 2023. I have a text from **** dated August 11th 2022 @ ******************************* saying I was wondering when you would be back up here. It looks nice. Thank you. More work had been discussed with ****, he wanted me to come back and do more work on his lot and I did go back. He also stated that if he could scrape up more money, he wanted more work done to his lot. #2 Since the calf incident, this animal cruelty case is still under investigation as ***************************/AKA ***************************** are considered the same person and we cannot discuss anything further until it is resolved.

  #1 The animal case there was no investigation. And the animal case is closed and has nothing to do with the drive way work and the lack of completion. 

  # 2. I do not know who this AKA ***************************** person is. 

  #3. A 1 Groundwork was paid to install a permanent driveway and with in 1 year it is falling apart. 

  #4. All I'm asking for is that the contractor be required to fix there lack of hired job. 

  #5. Please refrain from bringing up things that have nothing to do with this driveway work.
