On or around July 27, 2024, I purchased a vehicle through Ray Haskell ***** and traded in my car for the purchase. It is now August 28, 2024 and the loan for my trade in HAS NOT been paid off. I have since had to make a car payment, with the next car payment due soon.I left 2 messages with no return call, I went to the dealership with the promise it would be dealt with...still nothing. I called again on August 27, 2024, and was told by *** that they are waiting for the title from my bank before they pay the loan off. Where is GOD'S NAME does that even make sense. You won't get the title until they get payment and to think otherwise is ludicrous to me. I know the date *** Haskell called to get the payoff amount and if the check is for any less than that amount or I have to make a second payment, I will be seeking legal counsel. I'm done playing their games.Business Response
Date: 09/18/2024
The pay off was sent in on 8/26/2024.
Apologies for any miscommunication as to when it was to be done, but it's been handled.
Thanks.

i visited this car dealership and was brought in by a flyer they mailed to my fianc. while there i was looking at a jeep gladiator Mojave they had the sales person said he could check with a soft credit check and see about my trade in to get some numbers. i told him i didn't want a hard credit pull on my credit he assured there would not be. i asked the price of this vehicle they never told me and none is posted on their site or on the vehicle. they did a hard pull on my credit without consent and tried to force a loan without ever telling the price of the vehicle.Business Response

The customer gave us all of his information to ALLOW us to run a credit check. We let the customer know that was what we were doing, hence the information provided by the customer, without which, we would never conduct the check.
I hope this helps clarify.

On May 29th I dropped off my 2014 **** Explorer to Ray Haskell **** for a repair to the transfer case to be covered by extended warranty. When my wife picked the Explorer on June 12th, she noticed an exhaust leak. When she informed me about the leak, I called ****** at *** Haskell's to inform her about the leak. ****** confirmed her knowledge of the leak when it left. The issue lies with the Explorer did not have an exhaust issue when we brought it in. They had to take it down to replace the transfer case and was damaged at this time. ****** tried to convince me that the leak was there and we didn't notice it over the transfer case noise. This is not the case. *** Haskell refused to go good for the damaged exhaust and is now costing me $450 out of pocket to repair. This was damaged by the mechanic. Also when they did a pre work inspection worksheet and flagged a number of "issues that needed to be addressed". These flagged issues were state inspection points which had just been fixed a month prior to this date. I believe this business is scamming customers and trying to get more business by falsely finding issues. I make this complaint with a good background in mechanic work.Business Response

When we necessarily removed the exhaust pipe to replace the component, it was quite *****, and, try as we might, by virtue of disturbing the exhaust pipe in its condition, an exhaust leak may have developed. It was not a result of carelessness or poor workmanship.
Service Manager ******************* spoke with the customer, and offered to look at the vehicle on a lift and take a hard look at it, and potentially compromise on a repair. According to *****, the customer was unwilling.
We would still offer this to the customer, we are willing to put the vehicle on a lift and review with ****************, and see if a compromise could be reached.
Thank You,

Date 3/14/2024 brought Van to dealership for factory recall work manufacturer said should not take more than one day, has been there since 3/14/24 still not completed as of today 3/18/24 , supposed to be covered recall no chargeBusiness Response

We were performing the recall on this vehicle, as we have many vehicles prior to this. We could not complete the update cycle, network communication issues within the vehicle. Our shop ******* had taken over the repair, in an attempt to resolve the problem. He struggled with it, started tracing the network connections, and found a module unplugged under the passenger side seat. one that module was plugged back in, the recall was done within an hour. It was unclear why that module would have been unplugged, not required as part of any service or recall, unsure why.
Recall was completed and vehicle returned to customer, we apologize that this took an inordinate amount of time to repair.

My mother received a flyer in the mail from this company that contained big win pull stamps. This was essentially a lottery ticket where you won a prize if you got three matching images under a tab. The flyer misleads you into thinking that if you have three matching symbols you get the prize that is associated with that image on the chat next to it. In reality there is no association between the images and the prize. While I did not have to spend any money on this item, it is a very blatant bait and switch where they pretend you won a big prize where in actuality you only have a chance of getting a big prize.Customer Answer
