    Island Construction began, but failed to finish, a home interior project on Peaks Island in October 2023. The work was not close to being finished in May 2024. The work that was performed was sub-standard, causing a substantial amount of money to repair the work they performed. New door openings out of plumb, headers built with insufficient sized boards, no work being done for months at a time, failure to communicate from **** the company owner. Issues noted for permit inspection were not properly addressed causing delay and resubmitting to clear issues that should have been addressed by Island Construction. I highly recommend you stay far away from Island Construction. It is so disappointing to trust a person and his company to complete your construction and they s**** you over without a bit of worry on their part.

    Island Construction does beautiful work! Very knowledgeable with any job big or small. Professional top notch finish work. Highly recommend this company!
