      I called to have an annual service done on a gas boiler. after the technician left the tenants in the building found they were without domestic hot water. a second call was placed and the same technician came back and then left after 15 mins. when tenants went into the basement they saw boiler leaking. a third call was placed and a new technician was requested. A new tech came and said part would have to be ordered and installed in a couple days. two weeks go by and yet another call is made. An appointment was set up for part install and they never showed up. I called to complain and was told to call someone else because the service manager was tired of dealing with me and he ended the call with an expletive. In my opinion the lack of communication alone should disqualify them, couple this with managers that don't listen and would rather talk over you and the result is a poorly run organization.

      I had SES send their plumber to remove the toilet and sink from my bathroom in order to make room for a renovation of the space. All that was required was that the plumber cap off the hot and cold water lines (two 1/2" Propress caps) and insert test plugs in the toilet and sink drains. The plumber was in my home less than two hours total, including the time he spent going out to purchase supplies. He should have been informed by the company what the job would entail and have come prepared. Test plugs and water line caps are common plumbing stock that he should have had in his truck.I was charged for 3.5 hours of labor @ $120/hr. plus a $25 ****************** charge. In addition, I was charged $47.46 for materials/supplies.The businees is only 45 minutes from my home. ******* had arrived at 8am, so we were likely his first job of the day. The company charges for travel time. Even if allowed two hours of actual "labor" and 45 minutes for travel (I should not be charged for traveling to the next job), the maximum I should have been charged is **** hours of labor. The ****************** charge is totally meaningless and pure bill inflation. I've called the company every couple days to get someone to explain these excessive charges. All I get from them is a runaround. Person I need to speak to is on another line or not in today. They take my phone number and say they will call back. They don't. I've emailed them with the same results. This has been going on for almost three weeks.Total bill for pulling toilet and sink was $495.07. In addition, the plumber cut back the copper feed lines as far as he could and took all the tubing with him without asking if he could have it!! I consider that theft.I will be paying the bill and requesting a refund for the excessive charges.
