    I brought my dog to ******** Veterinary Emergency and ************** (PVESC) on 7/10 due to ingestion of foreign bodies.During my visit there were several unprofessional and concerning behaviors that I experienced. My full experience is document in their ****** reviews. Regarding the administrative woman I spoke with, I don't remember her name. She was cold, unkind, unemotional, and lacked complete empathy. It was clear that she is focused solely on protecting her staff. She was defensive, which caused me to become defensive to the point of tears and anger. She has made me feel completely unheard, unsupported, and insulted. I requested a refund on the office portion of my visit based on the experiences outlined above and was told that they had done the services so they wouldn't be doing a refund, which would be $140 for the exam and $38 for the vet technician cost, as a reminder it is the vet tech who she will be using my experience as a 'teaching moment'. I didn't pay your practice to educate your staff, I paid them to perform a service at a level in which anybody would expect, which you admittingly did not achieve. This practice also has several new negative ****** reviews within the last few days that I encourage you to read.In conclusion, this is not the practice that you want on your side in a time that is uncertain, unclear, and ultimately scary. Also, our experiences should not be used to trial competency and professionalism of your staff.
