On June 28th I purchased multiple comic books during this retailers livestream on the WhatNot app platform. Two weeks later on July 8th I was provided with a **** tracking number in regards to my order [**************************]. Although this is a bit unusual length of time to wait for a shipment to go out, I knew the retailer was dealing with personal issues and was patient. The tracking stalled and indicated it was still in the city and state of mailing over a week later on July 17th. I attempted to reach out to seller on a different livestream they had and was told they would put a tracer on it as it seemed odd to have never left the state. I attempted to reach out to seller in a text message this week asking for an update, but haven't heard back from them. I went to my local post office today and they ran a geo-tracker on the tracking number that shows the package never left the sellers city/state.Customer Answer

Items were shipped and picked up by local **** business courier as seen on tracking. The package was. lost by **** and did not update for weeks now going on a month. **** from Whatnot tells us to contact support and have them handle the situation which I did for various shipments in this and another show. Whatnot would probably refund the items and wait for delivery. Once these items are picked up from the courier and scanned in, the process is to go through whatnot, not through the seller as we have zero control over any of the process by now.Customer Answer

If this was a singular order I could accept this response, however this is concerning 4 different orders shipped at 4 different times. This is exceedingly difficult to believe the issue is all due to the postal carrier. I am not the only person to have lost orders from this particular seller and have been in communication with a few others as they work through their own handling of this issue.
Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

Back on February 20, 2024 I ordered 2 copies of a book entitled Spectregraph #1 Retailer Variant for $25 each plus $9 shipping for a total cost of $59.00. As it was more than 3 months since placing the order I started inquiring sometime in early June as to the reasons for the delay. I discovered that the release date for the book was on April 24, 2024. This date was further confirmed by information contained on the company's ******** page as shown in the attached image. Subsequently, on June 10, 2024 I reached out to the company via email *********************************** regarding order#**** and the fact that the we were beyond the release date. One week later on June 17, 2024, after not receiving any response, I sent a message via ******** Messenger. Still no response. I looked up the company's phone number but no one answers when I call. The company's website also now appears to be inaccessible.Customer Answer

The reasons I wanted to provide for my rejection of the company's response is that I never received any sort of indication that a refund would be issued, nor did I actually receive a refund.

On April 07, 2021 I placed an online order with El Rey Comics for: Mystery Subscription ******** - April $31.49 The Last Ronin #1 CGC ********************* Remark $125.00 Shipping $20.43 Total $176.92.I paid for the order with my PayPal account.When you order comics that are SS (Signature Series) and graded by CGC **************************** it can take up to a year to get the books back. I have waited 17 months for my book and Mystery Box. I have sent the owner ****** emails on 5/26/21 (Info on Subscription Box. Was told will ship with other book, First request for refund) 9/25/21 (Was told ******** had ghosted them and he didn't know what was gonna happen with the books.) 12/11/21 - No response, 4/26/22 (Told that they had ********************* and ******. Could be multiple months before get them back Requested refund). 8/26/22 No response. 9/26/22 Requested full refund again.According to CGC's census report, 33 of these comics have been graded. Five of them with Signatures. This comic was a store exclusive for the El Rey Comics store. If 5 have been graded with signatures, why don't I have mine.The owner never informed me of the problems he was having with the artist who was suppose to sign the book until I complained. The owner never gave me the option to cancel my order after he made the switch to a different signee. Throughout the 17 months I have been waiting I have not heard anything from the store except excuses. I think I waited a lot longer than most reasonable people would for the book and mystery box.I no longer want the book or mystery box. I would like my money back.Customer Answer

Customer is correct, Artist went to rehab, almost killed himself, and then went silent. Because of the nature o the book, most clients have been patient. I disclosed all information about the issue with the artist and the books over the last 2 years on Instagram, ********, via email and on various selling platforms. Attached are responses we just got earlier this month that indeed he has the books, signed them and is shipping them back finally. Once we get them in hand we will get them signed by ******* and ****** and send them to get graded.Customer Answer

Complaint #******** I reviewed the sellers response to the complaint I made two years ago. I wanted to state my reasons for not accepting his response but the page closed before I could make my statement. Order #**** The seller never sent me the conversations he had with the artist he commissioned to do the work. Those messages are over two years old. I still haven't received the refund I have requested. The seller claims he has been in contact with me for the whole process. He has not. He has made no effort to keep me informed or answer all the emails I have sent requesting my money back. The sellers website is no longer active so I can't show the page that shows that my order was not fulfilled. I have sent him multiple emails begging for him to refund my money and he ignores them all. I have no faith that the seller will send me the items he owes me. I want a FULL refund for my purchase in 2021.
