      I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I encountered recently at your store in ***************, ******On 6/22, my family and I purchased a dog collar and leash from your store. Unfortunately, the items did not meet our needs, and we decided to return them the following day. During the return process, I was informed by your staff that only the subtotal amount would be refunded, excluding the sales tax.Upon learning this, I pointed out that withholding the sales tax refund was against Maine state law. Subsequently, your employee took down my name and contact information, stating that she needed to consult with her manager regarding the refund policy.After a short wait, I returned to the store and reiterated that withholding sales tax refund is illegal. The employee confirmed that she needed to discuss the matter with her manager and mentioned that this was a standard practice, with no previous challenges from customers.Finally, I received a call from your store and returned for the third time to collect the sales tax refund, as required by law.While I appreciate your team ultimately rectifying the situation, I want to ensure that this issue is addressed to prevent similar misunderstandings in the future. It is important for all customers to receive refunds in accordance with Maine state regulations.I kindly request that you review your refund procedures to ensure compliance with state laws and to train your staff accordingly.

      I ordered two items from this company, a wristlet and matching tote bag, the box arrived on Sunday evening via ***** with just the tote. I assumed that the wristlet was on backorder but upon checking the packing slip it was noted that there were two items shipped. I immediately called their customer service number and left a message, explaining the situation. That was on Sunday 7/23, today is Tuesday 7/25 and I have called them at least 5 times now, as well as sent a couple emails. This was a gift, and I am so disappointed that they have absolutely zero customer service, they do not answer their phones, they do not return calls or emails. How does a customer resolve their issue without any opportunity to discuss the situation with this company. I want them to mail me the wristlet or refund my money. Order #SO0029474 At this point I would never buy from them again nor would I recommend them. Clearly by all of the negative comments on the BBB, they are not a very well-run company.

      It's unfortunate the shipment was missing the wristlet, and that's on us. We are a small business and our customer service team responds as quickly as they are able. In this instance the customer was called back on 7/26, two days after reaching out to us (we are not open on Sunday), and the issue was addressed and resolved, but not before this complaint was posted. We shipped the missing wristlet the next day. We do occasionally make mistakes, but we do try to resolve them as quickly as possible and to attempt to satisfy the customer.
