      I have cancelled my automatic renewal because for the 2nd time one of my teenage children was left stranded on the side of the road after being told a tow truck would be there in an hour. after an hour no one had showed. after 2 hours another call to AAA was placed and was told no one was coming. This is NOT acceptable! no call no show! Its bad enough to leave someone stranded on the side of the road but its much worse to leave a child stranded at midnight!!

      Literally nothing redeeming about this company nationwide. They had me sitting in my car for an hour during a winter night before they told me to call the cops for help. When I asked for clarity they began to raise their voices and get agitated. When I asked to speak to another agent I was hung up on. I waited in my car for more than 3 hours in the middle of the night and in the middle of winter. A cop came and got a tow truck that I had to pay for out of pocket. $300. I am now being told it will take a month for them to send reimbursement. Their customer service is abominable. Their supervisors are no better. Their automated phone service is set up to prevent you from reaching a human agent. When you finally get an agent on the phone, they offer nothing but rhetoric and attitude. I pay for AAA PREMIUM and they have treated me like dirt. Paying for AAA is literally throwing money away Also, the tow truck driver that the cop sent for me told me that AAA pays contracted drivers barely enough to cover gas so that's why so many local tow trucks won't work for them. Which means if you break down at night you will most likely find yourself calling the cops, paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket and hoping you'll see reimbursement (which isn't guaranteed) before the year is done. The lack of care, integrity, and pride shone by AAA is egregious. You are an embarrassment to our country and you should be ashamed. (The only reason you get one star is that BBB won't let me give you 0)

      Unable to get to my emergency within 12 hours and never informed me. Completely unacceptable! Not sure it can be called service.

      Upgraded from basic to pay extra for motorcycle coverage. 1st time using it and they couldn't find anybody to assist me. Front flat tire in a city of over 70k people and multiple businesses and they couldn't find anyone to help me. A city surrounded by cities. What if I had been in the countryside where most people like me? Anyway, 18 hours later they say they may be able to help. . It's been a couple of days and I'm still so mad. AAA still hasn't reached out. I'm searching for better service, they cannot be the only ones.

      My mother passed away in April of 2022. I began getting letters from AAA and bills because her plan lapsed. Also, new cards were sent, then a **** would follow which actually seemed a bit scamish for a well established company. After a letter dared July 7, 2022 I called to have the mailings stopped. I was assured her name was removed from everything. Another **** arrived dated July 27th. I called the ***** office and relayed the past experience to ***** who tried to cut me off before I was finished explaining. He was rather ****. After I finished he assured me she would get no more mailings. I told him thats what I was told 3 weeks ago. He seemed rather perturbed at this and I told him his responses and attitude were not appreciated. I myself have been a long term member and actually are considering canceling my membership. 2 sons and a daughter canceling could follow. Really inappropriate for a company today.

      Had a tire blowout on our way to the hospital for treatment for her Cancer. She is immune compromised. The AAA operator said it would be an hour for the tow truck to arrive.Two hours later he arrived.He put the car on the flatbed and we asked him to wear a mask because of her immune system and her said her did not have one we said we had extras her replied "I will not wear one and you should find alternative transportation to the tire shop.We called a friend and they came as so as we called but he was 30 minutes away.It was nearly 90 degrees outside luckily we had water. We have been members for 52 years.

      Called for tow at 12:30 told would be there by 1:38 now 5:40 still nothing! After asking for call or text at 2:30 NO contact in 3+ hrs and have been on hold now for 20min just waiting for initial contact with this attempt. POOR. They should not be allowed to leave people hanging like this.

      If I could click a zero star review I would. I just traveled 15 hours to see my grandparents. I got no discount on my rental from Enterprise to start (DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT THAT PART~IT"S THIS PART: The person taking care of my animals, got locked out of my house. I was told I had premier, down to the point I was holding a silver premier card in my hand, and apparently I was downgraded to plus only? (When this happened I would like to know). They advertise they will help unlock a home if this happens. Nope not for me.... I'm only a plus member now and I'm not even exactly sure what that means for my pets~ I suppose because of a glitch they are plus as well. I kindly asked the manager that was on the phone after they told me I could be upgraded to what I already have and paid for- but it won't take affect until 7 days. (It takes 7 days apparently to press a button to save a dog and two cats) "I asked if there was perhaps something more human we could do in this strange situation rather than sticking to a bullet point list of responses"? She literally just say "That is not an option". So now I'm dealing with vet bills for an almost dead diabetic cat and bills to replace all my locks and my door, since it was after hours (no locksmiths available). I finally convinced a friend to use a crow bar and break in. AAA had no problem taking my money but when I needed them, that was more important than saving animals that were locked in a house.
