Mail New England, which appears to be owned by RFB Advertising sends out mass mailings with coupons and advertisements for walk-in tubs, stair lifts, and the like. I do not wish to receive this junk mail and recycle it when it arrives. On approximately October 7th, 2024, I filled out the stop mail request on their site (**************************************************). I understood that it could take a few weeks for mailings to cease. On November 8th, however, I was still receiving their mailings so I followed up via email. They sent me confirmation that they had asked the postmaster not to deliver their mailings to my address. I also followed up by phone and was essentially told they had done everything they could. As of yesterday, January 11th, 2024, I still regularly receive their mailings.I would like RFB Advertising/Mail New England to honor their stop mail requests. If they are unable/unwilling to do so, perhaps they should switch to an opt-in system. I am frustrated because I am concerned about the environmental impacts of junk mail, and they have been uncooperative in honoring my request.

      To whom it may concern:

The mail program of which Mr. ***** refers is classified by the ******************* as EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail). That means the ******************* will deliver the mail to every door in the selected zip codes for which we've paid the required postage.

The mail is addressed with a "simplified address" which means it is addressed to the "Postal Customer". We do not use a mailing list and therefore there is no list from which to remove his name or address or for opting into.

Our website explains all the process and asks the consumer to reach out to their local post office as well. "Mail New England uses the ****************************** from the US Post Office.  We do not maintain a list.  If you fill out this form, we will ask the Postmaster in your zip code to stop our direct mail delivery to you.  We suggest that you contact your local Postmaster as well."

Once the mail leaves our facility and is delivered to the ****'s distribution center, it is no longer under our control. We received an email request from Mr. ***** on 11/8/24 and sent a letter on the same day to the postmaster in ******** asking that they not deliver our mail to Mr. ****** address and then forwarded a copy of the letter to Mr. ****** I've asked several executives at the **** if there is anything else that can be done to ensure a specific address does not receive EDDM mail with a simplified address and was told no, there was not.

We've honored Mr. ***** request and asked that the **** stop delivering it to *************************************

By the way, we use recycled paper and soy-based ink in our ValueMail products.

      *. *****
