    ******* Mercier rebuilt a porch for me last year so I have successfully worked with him before. I contracted him to remodel a kitchen in my home. We worked together for a couple months deciding on materials. I told him from the beginning I wanted all materials in my garage before the work started so there would be no delays between starting the project and finishing. We were ready to order all materials by 5/25/23. At that point I had already given him $12,000. Got some cabinets and wood on 5/12/23. I gave him another $4,000. He continued to delay deliveries. His first agreed start date was 6/5/23. On 5/30/23, he delayed it to 6/12/23 and said before that the materials and his trailer would be on my property. None of that ever happened. I texted him on 6/9 and he said he wouldnt be starting on 6/12 but he would be here (6/9) to bring materials and discuss schedule. Finally showed up on 6/10/23 and said he was absolutely sure he would start on Thursday, 6/21/23. I made it clear I was not happy about the delays. He never showed on 6/21/23. On 6/22/23, he texted and said he would be here 6/23 or 6/24 and would let me know the morning of 6/23. I replied that I was very upset. Then I didnt hear from him until 6/26/23 when he texted and said he would be here in 2 hours. By then I had given up on the whole project. I told him to bring all materials and receipts and if he showed without them, I would send him back to get them. He called, we argued, I repeated that I wanted all materials and receipts. He hung up saying this is crazy. Thats the last Ive heard from him. *** texted and emailed with no replies. His voicemail box was full so I couldnt leave a message.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  They have not responded to my texts or voicemails.  The issue is not resolved.
