    DO NOT bring your ******** thinking that they will be able to provide you with answers during times of emergency. My dog, Hippo, was brought in with GI issues, which lead to ultrasounds/X-rays and an exploratory abdomen surgery. Something happened during surgery which lead to him bleeding internally and not being discovered until 12 hours later, resulting in blood transfusions, and another exploratory surgery to see where the bleeding was coming from less than 24 hours after the first surgery. All while the ** doctor in charge kept saying it was costing life changing money and we needed to make a decision. No answers as to why he was bleeding. No answers as to why he went downhill after dropping him off in their care. Ultimately he ended up having a neurological episode most likely from infection, which resulted in us making the heart breaking decision to say goodbye and send him to heaven so he wouldnt suffer and/or have another. $25,000 later we have zero answers as to what happened. If you have brought your ******** in the past, request records because youll be appalled to find out they dont do the bare minimum to save your pet. Im so thankful I have dug into what was done while he was there because I can clearly see the lack of care that he had. No antibiotics were given because they dont provide such until there is a reason (valid), however lab work isnt sufficient enough in there eyes as reason, nor is there any indicated record of other lab tests for bacteria cultures. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT trust them. Do I think they want whats best? Probably. Do I think they assume the worst and test for causes that end up wasting time when they could treat with the basics, yup. Money hungry, no compassion, and down right disgusting company within the emergency vet side. Save your money and your heart ache. #JusticeforHippo

    I called MVMC over a weekend, my dog had a new diagnosis and my regular vet was closed on the weekend, I had questions and I understand theyre busy, but I wanted to ask questions regarding my dogs current state, the women on the other end of the phone cut me off and says if its bad enough, bring him in. Im sorry, but a little compassion goes a long way. I instantly knew with that *************** I didnt not want them caring for my animal.
