    Signed contact 6/4/23 with *****'s home improvement for foundation work. Project cost $16,785. To date $1150 (initial fee), $7920 50%, $3960 = $13,030 has been paid. Contract stated 2 phases first 2 weeks and 2nd 1 week to completion. *****'s was supposed to start on 6/7/23. We live 4 1/2 hours away from location. We were lead to believe by ***************** that he had been at the home working for over a month before we found out he had not even been there. Once there maybe 1-2 days a week from second week of July to first week of August 2023. *****'s went days and at times 2 weeks before responding to any of my text or calls. On 08/25/23 he texted that he had run out of money to complete the project. I asked for pictures for proof that he was at the concrete pouring stage, what was stated in contract before receiving next 1/4 payment of $3960. He sent pictures, later to be found out were all of one side from different angles. We sent him $3960 to continue the job. The house to date is not has not been worked on. It has been on cribbing all winter and to date. 3 contractors have come out to look at the house . We have been told by all 3 that he has not done any work to standards and concrete can not be poured. All 3 stated that would need to remove all *****'s has done and start new. This all be costs of $16,000 to $35000. We need our money back. We believe he did work to make it look like he would complete a foundation, with no intention of doing so. That he stole our money.

    On the day I made the complaint *** from *****'s texted me.  He texted "You did not need to contact Better Business Bureau."  We have not heard from him since the text on 7/3/24.

    He has not been to the job location at *******************************, ***** since August 2023.

    Summed up im handicapped. *** kept telling.me how money was tight and he couldn't get the job done. Unless i told the bank it was done. So he got paid and than pretty much vanished with my money leaving my home a disaster since march 6th. And not even finished a fraction of the ***** dollars we spent on him. I hearsay his crew saying they used my money on other jobs. And now *** is trying to get the second contract paid. Promising me he will finish his work then. I have begg3d for him to fix my home. He never cleaned and all of it is lazy and broken work. My ceiling fan is falling off the roof. No bathtubs no vanities, sink, he and his crew broke and ruined so many of my items got paint on it. My tubs broken. Showers a mess. Everything is promises and no follow through.
