Date of transaction: May 1, 2024 (gave payment information on April 30, 2024, payment posted to bank account on May *********** of money paid to business: $585.20 (included labor: $339.80, 40ft of 3/16 Poly Brake Line: $236.40, and brake fluid: $9.00). Invoice #**** is attached for reference. What the business committed to provide: Per the quote provided by the business, Websters Service Center committed to a full brake line removal and replacement on my ****** Corolla. They indicated that the old, rusted brake lines would be removed and replaced with new lines. All communication with them was over the phone (though I have been to their shop many times over the past 8 years).Nature of the dispute: (Full description of events that occurred is attached - summarized here due to character limit). My vehicle had an appointment with Websters Service Center on April 18th, 2024 for a routine oil change and to have them assess the brake system due to the dashboard brake warning light recently coming on. The shop recommended and committed to a full brake line replacement which included removing the old brake lines and replacing them with new ones. The work was not completed as promised and the business was extremely hostile and unwilling to come to some sort of resolution when the problem was brought to their attention. They have since blocked all communication from myself and my partner, so we are not able to pursue any further resolution and are seeking assistance from BBB.
