    On 8/26/2024 I signed contract with this company to complete a patio project. My initial down payment was $3151.63. Project was scheduled to begin 9/23/2024. After 2 weeks the project was still not started. The owner kept pushing it back so I cancelled the project which was authorized to do in the contract. I did not receive a full refund of our initial payment. Instead it was $854.00 short. I was given patio stones for that amount ($854) which was an untrue amount. The stones were clearly old and not special ordered as promised. There also was not an appropriate amount of stones to meet the $854.00 value the owner of the company said they cost. The owner could also not produce a receipt for the special order stones that he also mentioned he could not return to the vendor for a refund. We had asked for this receipt to be provided vial email, photo, regular mail, etc over and over again. We never saw a receipt at all. It is my strong belief that the owner overcharged us for stones that he already had in his possession before the first time we even met with him about the project. I would hope that I can get the remainder of my refund ($854) back. But I do not have any real hope of that. If I did get that back, Id be more than happy to give him back the stones.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  I would just prefer that my complaint is made public on the BBB website in regards to this business.  Thank you.
