In January 2024 We put a deposit of $800 on a puppy to be picked up 2/2/2024 on January 27 our live in elderly family member had a major medical emergency which would and is currently requiring constant care, also Im recovering from back surgery. We felt that we would not be able to properly care for the puppy and notified Varney Labs of our situation. ***** was very sympathetic and we will find a home for the puppy, we keep $200 in the event we change our mind for the future BUT you paid $800 so give me your name and address and we will mail you a check for $600 dollars. This agreement was discussed and agreed upon Jan 30 2024. To date 2/16/2024 I have not received a check and have been given the run around everyday since. I am very disappointed and will be filing a civil small claims against this 1 star company 2/19/2024 IF I dont receive that they have sent me a check. I have emailed called (no answer no call back) text sent PayPal request and have been ignored. Do not do business with these people.

    Business Response

We have had a medical emergency that required two ER visits in a weeks time and many follow up appointments.  We are a small family business. With the head of the household under the weather, other house hold members had to  tend to the puppies and dogs.  The check has been mailed and cashed.  We are sorry for the wait, but there were extenuating circumstances.
