Hello, the attached contract was signed by myself and Boggs Homes. My loan was approved, building permits were obtained, appraisal was complete and I was waiting for the work to start when I was called by Boggs Homes and told they would not be building my house because they couldnt get it up the driveway. I was not allowed to offer more money to get the home up my driveway or sent a letter canceling the sale.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.

There is a contract signed by the buyer and Boggs Homes, which clearly state the customer is responsible for the accessibility on to the site.  Boggs Homes made a phone call advising the buyer that the driveway was not accessible.  In order to build a driveway that will accept a truck and modular home along with a 100-ton crane, the cost would be in the 10's of thousands of dollars.  Boggs homes felt it would put the buyer out of budget and the appraisal would not work.  With no other options for access to the job site, Boggs Homes suggested to the buyer, to stick build a home.  With no other communication from the buyer, Boggs Homes assumed that was the direction the buyer was taking.  If, the buyer desires to move forward, Boggs Homes is willing to get a new price for the developing cost, with a driveway that will accept delivery of a modular home.
