My husband and I hired Elite to complete the siding on our rental apartments in *******. It was a pleasure from start to finish with this company. We will be hiring them in the near future for our other properties. We recommend them to anyone looking for a great company that goes out of its way to do extra for a happy customer! You don't find those values anywhere anymore! Don't go off of the small amount of bad reviews. Go off of the large amount of good ones and the great experiences. we believe some just jump to complaints to complain without understanding! We would recommend and rehire this company over and over again!

They are great at taking 50% of their quote to do a roof, then after that, there is no communication in the normal sense. Promises made and no show., no communication. We are out $2,500 as of now! This company was recommended to us by our realtor who liked their work. Clients time is as VALUABLE , in other words our not being able to leave our house because one waits for the roofers to show up on the day they say and they DONT is inexcusable. Their office is open 2 days and then they cut off communicating! No one answers their phones. So when they promise the day they are to come they either dont show up or dont follow up with a phone call to let you know their ETA. Thats Elite Exteriors business. We are still waiting for a reply , are two days waiting from the day they made their appointmentsnothing. $2,500 of ours is not being honored.

This review is incorrect and not true! The Communication with the homeowner was Daily and through direct Calls .
I contacted them to let them know we would POSSIBLY be able to start on their small shed roof on Sunday or Monday. But it was NOT a guarantee.  The homeowners said they would not be available to be around on Sunday and had asked if they needed to be at the property If we came to work on sunday or Monday. We advised them that No one needs to be home for us to complete the work! They were happy with that and said They had plans and would not be around .

We did not finish the current job we are on by Monday and they proceeded to call the business phone starting at 8:00 am to 10:00 am We are closed on Mondays and are open 3 days a week Wednesday to Friday.  This is the reason no one was in the office to return the multiple back-to-back calls in the two-hour timeframe they called! so there was Full communication, calls, and emails directly and daily with this homeowner! They did get a call back from me on MONDAY the same day as this message was left, not even two hours  after their calls started!  I advised them that we would be on their job with an Actual date of the following week and they said they did not want to wait and asked to terminate the contract!  They are not out of the $2,500 in Materials they had paid for their shed! They terminated the contract due to not wanting to wait for one week to have the roof completed!  If reviews are going to be left, I would advise for the full truth of the situation from both parties to be stated! As, they were quick to jump on complaints for only two hours of not answering a business phone on one of the closed days, and they did get a callback on this closed day within TWO HOURS!

Elite Exteriors was hired to do roofing work on our two story home in April, 2021. For the most part the work was acceptable yet lacked detail in some areas. A major problem occurred in July, 2022 when a leak was found on a ceiling in an upstairs room. We called a ***** to diagnose the problem and he said it was caused by incomplete work around the front chimney. We had difficulty hiring someone to do the repairs. In September of that year strong mold odor began in an entire wall in line with the upstairs back chimney. It became much worse. Once again, another ***** established that the flashing had not been repaired and water was running down into the wall. The roofing around both chimneys was installed over the existing flashing which is a huge mistake. This business was hired to complete the work around the chimneys. A business, **********************, also needed to be hired to remove a bathroom wall, insulation, and woodwork. For three days two powerful dehumidifiers were placed in the room to remove moisture and mold. It is known to be a health threat. Our insurance company did not cover all of the above-mentioned work. The Better Business Bureau does not accept claims over a year. This was very disturbing and a great financial loss. The job cost thousands of dollars as it is a large home. We attempted to be in touch with the business and never heard back from them. All along communication was very disappointing. This is a long review. I want to inform people about this situation because customers should not have to experience such difficulties.

Dear Mrs. ************************** We can assure you that all work completed on your home was to ***** state code as well as manufacture warranty. We take pride in our work as well as on the buildings Elite Exteriors works on. Between our emails and daily calls and communication with you throughout the roofing project we have all documentation to prove otherwise on your statement here with the BBB that your accusations are false. We truly apologize if you feel you needed to get other work done for free from your insurance company by slandering a good honest business. But I assure you that you have not called us or emailed us since our roof completion to state you have had any leaks or issues with the work. We have been in business for over 15 years and have never had call backs or bad reviews over poor work or work not being done! For further clarity your roof was leaking prior to calling us for sometime and caused the damage prior to hiring us to reroof your home. Once we were completed and during our work your husband as well as you were happy with the work as well as with our crew and never stated otherwise. We have all before and after pictures to show any work done as well as the end process of cleanup. The only issue that you have had was your flower bed that was close to your home a few plants were damaged we did offer to purchase you new ones as we did understand and wanted to help in any way to make sure our customers are satisfied as well as we like to leave our job sites looking in better condition than when we showed up to start. Thank you!

Dear ******* and *****,I realize that your business has been reputable and it was important to you that we were satisfied. Otherwise, my husband would not have hired you to work on our home. We were satisfied until this summer and Fall. We are very honest people and do not retaliate. Some of your statements are incorrect. I tried contacting you by phone in September of this year and asked if you would call me. There was no reply. I wanted to inform you about the problem because it began in July and then another incident occurred in September. We knew what the real problem was by then. It happened AFTER the roofing job. I ask why even mention that the issue happened BEFORE the work in ****************************** July of this year (2022). Both water damage locations were discovered within two months of each other. We did not call you in July because we didn't want to prematurely reach you without knowing what was causing the leak. We trusted that the work was done correctly. An error on our part was not calling our insurance company at the onset. They denied our claim because it was not reported early enough. Therefore, we are faced with all expenses to resolve this huge problem. In July a person suspected that water was leaking around the front chimney. We patiently waited for him to do the repairs and he never came. In the meantime precautions were made in the attic to limit any water accumulation. The strong mold odor in the downstairs bathroom began in September. The back chimney is directly above the entire wall down to the first floor area. Water ran down beneath the roofing and sheathing. Prior to the roofing job there was no leaking in the house. We gladly paid you for the hard work that was done. Your husband was asked to install a tarp over a dormer the previous Fall to prevent any possible leaking over the winter until the roofing job would begin. It was done because our previously scheduled job for September, 2020 was postponed by you until April of 2021. When that part of the roof was done we were told it was very intact and there were no signs of rot or leakage there or anywhere else in the house. There was a manufacture warranty. You mention that the work was done according to *********** code, yet inspectors did not oversee the work. Human error can occur. The photos you took were at ground level and not in detail to actually see the chimney work. It was clear that the flashing around both chimneys was not done properly. In October we hired a person to repair the base of both chimneys. He confirmed that no attempts were made to use caulking or material to repair the flashing. I have photos to prove that. Furthermore, it was discovered that roofing was placed over the flashing at the base of both chimneys. We weren't able to see what was overlooked. There is no slandering of your business. All the work that's been done and continues to be necessary is clearly not coming from our insurance company. I have documentation of that as well. It is absolutely not a situation where we are getting anything "free" by any means. We continue to pay all the expenses that are ongoing because there is still a mold odor at this time which is November. In October our insurance company hired an abatement business to remove the bathroom wall, insulation, and woodwork. The drying process happened then yet there was still a smell after they left. Our insurance company will contact us as to what our responsibility will be after the $2,500 deductible. We expect there will be little compensation for that in the end. In the meantime much labor continues in hopes to isolate where the odor is coming from. More destruction and abatement may be needed. We have no intentions to pursue any legal action against your business as we do not need any added frustration and stress. Moreover, that is not something we do. At this time there is no resolution and it continues to be most disturbing and concerning. It is with sadness that I have needed to write this review. My husband and I come from a place of honesty and truth. I also refuse to debate any longer because we do not need additional blame and stress for something we didn't deserve.
