      I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment regarding my ongoing attempt to cancel my timeshare account with Nautical Mile. Last year, I received a relinquishment form from ***** ********, a representative of Nautical Mile. I completed the form and sent it back to him, and he acknowledged receiving it, confirming that he would forward it to the deeding department. After that, I heard nothing, no updates, no confirmation that the process had moved forward. On April 10, my wife contacted Nautical Mile and spoke with ******. To our surprise, she stated there was no record of the relinquishment form or request on my account. I explained that ***** ******** had confirmed its receipt and said it had been forwarded appropriately. ****** then informed us that I have a past due balance of $3,450.77 and $480 processing fee, which must be paid before any cancellation can proceed. She also mentioned that an additional fee equivalent to two years of maintenance fees would be required for the relinquishment process. None of this information was ever mentioned when I received and submitted the relinquishment form last year.This situation is deeply frustrating and feels incredibly unfair. I acted in good faith by completing and returning the required form, and now I'm being asked to pay thousands of dollars to move forward with a process I was led to believe had already begun. I followed all instructions as provided, and the lack of communication, followed by unexpected financial demands, is unacceptable.I have since followed up with Nautical Mile to ask if the amount due could be lowered, but they refused. At this point, I feel misled and disappointed with how my account has been handled.I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that a fair and reasonable resolution be offered. I am willing to cooperate, but I cannot accept being held responsible for delays or miscommunication on the part of Nautical Mile.

      I am writing to file a formal complaint against Nautical Mile Resort regarding their failure to acknowledge and address my repeated requests to cancel my timeshare with their resort.Despite my multiple attempts to initiate the cancellation process by sending request letters through various channels, including email and postal mail, I have not received any acknowledgement or response from Nautical Mile Resort.I find it concerning and frustrating that Nautical Mile Resort has chosen to ignore my legitimate requests for timeshare cancellation. As a consumer, I have the right to terminate my contractual obligations, and it is disheartening to be met with silence and lack of communication.I kindly request your assistance in investigating this matter and urging Nautical Mile Resort to address my cancellation request in a timely and appropriate manner. I believe that their failure to acknowledge and respond to my requests goes against fair business practices and consumer rights.Thank you for your attention to this complaint. I trust that the BBB will take appropriate action to ensure a fair resolution to this dispute.

      Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

      The business provided an email address ******************************** that is not working. I tried to send an email but I kept receiving a response that my email hasn't been sent to the recipient.
