    It was one of the worst experiences ever, and I had to bring him to court to make him pay damages. I waited until I won the court case to post this review.I hired him to do exterior renovations to my home, which included new exterior insulation, siding, windows, doors and a new front deck. Mullen was negligent in protecting our exposed home for a rain storm, causing water damage to newly installed windows and causing wall cavity insulation to get wet. Mullen didn't follow contract obligations and tried to charge me thousands of dollars extra for work that was clearly a part of the contract. He left messes everywhere, forcing us to spend days cleaning up after him throughout and after the project. The way he and his sons installed the insulation was so bad that I had to go behind them re-taping and foaming large gaps that shouldn't have been there. Soon after paying the final payment, things he installed started failing. The newly installed gutters were leaking and non-functional, front and back. The exterior doors were leaking water inside and a storm door detached from the house. Some windows are still leaking water inside or unable to close. The siding was installed crooked. I requested he come back to repair the leaking door, but he only responded demanding payment for things I did not agree to. As a result, I have already had to pay thousands extra to have someone else repair his work with more repairs still needing to be done, unfortunately. As more time goes on, more of his negligence has come to light.I could write pages more about what happened to us, but this review should give you a decent idea. Do yourself a favor and don't hire Mullen Remodeling.
