My husband and I filed our taxes in the beginning of February. The first time nobody contacted us to let us know that our taxes were rejected and when trying to get in contact with the lady that did them and got no reply I decided to message the owner of the business. We found out they were rejected because our two oldest had just gotten adopted and we had not changed their name with social security yet. So they re submitted them with the correct last name. Again they got rejected and she couln't give us a reason this time she said she went through everything and ll of the information  is correct. She then told us it would be better if we filed separately and stated we would get more money back this way as well, so we agreed. My understanding was that bein the tax professional she would have filed us both under married filing separately and that was not the case. She filed us each head of house hold and with us filing separately  neither of us ever even signed anything. She never sent over any e document for us to agree to how she filed us or anything, at that time I was not thinking about that. I ended up getting my taxes and now it is the middle of September and we have yet to get my husbands. She said there was an issue with our sons identity that she took care of and she then messaged me on august 27th and told us that we were showing up on her pre funding report and our money would be deposited today, September 11th 2024. When I  replied asking her if she could give me an amount because she stated that the mistakes were her an her business fault she would not charge for the taxes and we would be being paid interest she tole me she couldn't see the amount. My husband and I then learned we could check our transcripts on the *** website and we did and saw nothing about a deposit date or anything. I have every message between us proving that she said all of these things and that she keeps taking us around in circles without giving us proper answers or information. I'm not sure what else can be done at this time,

Filed my taxes 2/14/24 - now august and I still don't have my taxes and I can't get this company to return my call, and when I do talk to them they tell me "next week". They've told me my taxes were accepted and after talking to the IRS it seems they have not. They have continuously lied to me about my the status of my taxes and what is being done and what is to be expected. I'm owed over $2000 and can't get any one to help me get my taxes back
