    Nov. 27- Vet visit with ************** (3+ hour visit EVERY appointment)************** said she weigh dog in the back while I was waiting in room.************** prescribed prednisone to my dog with a possible heart condition Paid $770 for said visit.Dog was ok first 3/4 days then noticed blood in stool, kept calling VCA Allen Park and front desk kept telling us we will receive a call when dr **** busy. Waited 3 more days and had to call yet again to talk to Dr and refused to hang up until we got to speak to a Dr.************** asked how our dog was doing and we told her we stopped giving the prednisone because we noticed blood in her stool. Dr ***** seemed concerned as all she heard was the dog was doing better.Dec. 6th - we wake up and notice the dog is lethargic, later that night her breathing got worse and we rushed to ************ emergency veterinary hospital, when we got there we requested our dog be weighed because we think they lied to us about weighing my dog.Right before euthanizing my dog, the vet tech told us she only ******* ****lbs. ************** at VCA has my dogs medicine prescribed weight for ****lbs She refused to admit my dog did not come in on November 27th weighing ****lbs. After 30 minutes of going back and forth she admitted to a discrepancy in her weight, but doesnt know how it happened. After ************** kept telling me she weighed my dog herself. I am very upset that I put my trust and money into a vet clinic and was not taking seriously. The manager of the store still has not reached out to me on 12/27. Not only all of this but after I said something to ************** about my dog passing, as soon as we got off the phone my dogs medical history file was deleted.

    Extremely disappointed in this business. We have two dogs the first is @3 years old and the other a little over 1 years old. The older dog has been going here since a puppy and we have had the *** care program with no problems, but about the same time we got the second dog ***'s mentality shifted. The program was now about upselling everything. When my younger dog went in for his check up and blood work his liver labs were high, the Dr. wanted another test not covered of course in the plan, then after reluctantly agreeing, they refused to do his neuter unless we paid for 3 months of medication and then paid again for another test. So, after discussion it was agreed to two months of medication a second test then if the numbers came down the neuter. He went in for the test today which they allowed me to schedule, but then refused to do it and insisted on two more months of medication, the Dr. lied to me to get me to agree then changed her care plan for more money. I will be filing a formal complaint against her license with the *****************, the ********************** on their deceptive practices, and make sure my opinion is known across all social media sites. In addition the local Chamber of Commerce will receive a letter. I have confirmed with a second opinion and there was no reason for them to refuse to due the neuter other than money period. I am going to also file for mediation under the *** agreement for the Care Plan. My dogs will now be going to a different vet and it won't be a chain from ***. This location has made a significant impact of the reputation of the brand in my opinion and I won't be using them.
