      Went to Family Fare location on Northland Dr. to purchase chicken drumsticks as their website states they are .99/lb. Price in-store was not the same as stated on website. Spoke with the manager who was extremely rude and refused to honor the price. Website does not specify whether their prices are for online or in-store purchases. Took 2 attempts and over 2 weeks to receive follow-up from corporate. They are completely uncomcerned with their customer service or the fact that their website advertises false pricing as the issue remains unresolved.

      The Family Fare in Hudsonville used to be my favorite store. Now it is out of everything all of the time. They quit carrying most of my favorite things. There is no reason to stop there anymore.

      Regarding, Family fare pharmacy Allendale Michigan pharmacy manager Steve. Called about my daughter’s medication for a very complex medical diagnosis. He would not let me finish a sentence. He continuously interrupted me and talked over me. When I said please just let me finish, you won’t let me finish he basically said he felt the same way? I thought what is this guys problem?! It became clear what his issue was when he said, “I’m not talking to you anymore. I’ll talk to your husband” It doesn’t get more overtly sexist than that. At that point I said I wanted the number to his supervisor. He didn’t give it to me, and instead said he would have his supervisor call me for the complaint (felt a lot like I’m going to make sure I get my story to her first). His supervisor called me and she listened, then I listened and figured out what the issue was. Family care was incorrectly wording what they were doing. They were not billing our insurance for a month supply and then partial it. They were billing it one at a time. I will NOT EVER hand communication over to my husband and be denied a seat at the table of my own children’s healthcare in any way, shape, or form. Ever. Nor will I ever be silenced by a man who can’t handle that.

      Do not shop at Family Fare!!. They carry so many expired items. I stopped going to Family Fare months but was in a hurry and stopped there today. The cat food in pouches expired in Oct 2023. I have made three complaints and they still carry expired food and pet food. The manager in the Omaha Nebraska 30th street location emailed me after one of my complaints and said not to file complaints online and to just come in and talk to him. So I did just that and once again found expired items. I tell everyone I know to never shop at Family Fare and my family and neighbors shop elsewhere now. Awful company!!!

      This store is terrible. Majority of the products on the shelves are currently molded or expire the day after you buy them. If you have to buy anything here, PLEASE check the dates and the packaging for exposure. AVOID the deli at all costs; I made the mistake of buying fresh food from this store and made myself sick multiple times.

      This store has the worst customer service you can imagine. When trying to use my michigan lottery tickets I was repeatedly questioned by the lady about expiration dates. These coupons were directly from the michigan lottery app and had a very clear expiration date of March 31st 2023. The lady continued to make comments to me such as.... are you sure your gonna purchase all of these tickets, she continued to argue that she was pretty sure online coupons expire within 3 months. I said no ma'am that is not true at all actually. She continued to say yea I think they do. This lady was very disrespectful and treated me as if I was not a honest human being going into the grocery store. The gas station attached to this store has an extremely rude gentleman who wears glasses and absolutely refused to accept my ******** lottery coupons. Unfortunately the attitude and rudeness continued with the lady when I went into the grocery store.

      I shopped the Family Fare in ********, and I dont have one locally so I dont have a need to download the app. I had my flyer and everything was checked that I was planning to buy. I asked about downloading the digital coupons and was told some were working, some not and everyone was getting the yes price. I have a yes card, tried downloading the app and I was not able to clip the coupons from my phone. Im a senior on a fixed income, so I closely watch my money.I got home and reviewed my ****, only to find out I was overcharged by$7.00. I went back to the store I purchased items that were buy 5 save $5.00. I took my receipt to the service counter and questioned why I didnt get the money off for the five items I bought. I bought Ore-*** frozen potatoes and it didnt specify the type it had to be, but the size (***** oz) I bought a 32 oz bag of hash browns, and the girl at the counter said it was only for Tater tots or fries. Then I asked about the watermelon and was told I needed the digital coupon. I told her that I wasnt able to clip it and her reply was thats not my problem. I picked up my paper and receipt and left. I called the store manager and told him I would no longer be shopping in his store. I told him about not being able to clip the digital coupon, and he told me that others had the same problem. He apologized, and said he hoped I would give them another chance, but never even offered to give me a store credit for my $7.00.I contacted the customer service office and was told someone would contact me. That was a JOKE. No one ever called. Last weekend I went to Family Fare in Frankfort, bought Ice Cream that was 2/$7.00, ended up being charged $4.00. No promotion just a limit of 2. I firmly believe that because this is an area with a lot of out of town visitors, you rely on the fact that they dont check their receipts, or wont bother to come back for a refund.We have always tried to shop locally, not anymore!!!!!!
