I had numerous appointments with U of *********************************** only to leave in tears with no help for low pressure in left ear, clicking, popping and tinnitus. They kept saying the ear drum looked normal. Thus, they recommended ENT specialist.I went to their ENT specialist upon first visit, he stated I needed a ***, no prescription just *** and to have my defibrillator checked for the procedure. Their test on my ears VERIFIED I had Low Pressure and hearing loss in my Left Ear. The *** was negative. But this generated money for the institution but NO resolution for me. They billed me aggressively for $360 and sent it to collection. I borrowed and paid them off for doing NOTHING for me. They charged the insurance company over $6,000 for naught but it brought in money.I emailed the doctor, twice regarding my ear still hurting and mentioned the Hummingbird Device PE tube to release the pressure but was ignored. They did NOT want to help me. They received big pay from the insurance company as well as my borrowing money to pay $360 co pay. They received money for NOTHING and ignored me afterwards. I'm so hurt being 70 yrs old this is ********'s really sad not being able to trust the medical field anymore for you know not who you're approaching and their inner moral code. It's frightening for their Hippocratic oath to do no harm is NOW a myth.Don't trust hospitals and doctors anymore; it's all about getting the money and no regards for patients. Very unsavory people. I'm petrified of them and have NO trust anymore. Today, I speaking with a Dearborn, MI ENT and he gave me a prescription and mentioned I may need a PE tube to release the pressure in my left ear. U of M is overrated, overwhelming too big and I'm determined to avoid it and any doctor associated with it.
