Called today regarding a 4 ******* I inherited and told him of the issues I knew it had. I inquired about his hourly rate and asked about a time frame that it might take to inspect. He replied "I don't want to work on anything that messed up". Without having seen it, and only given the information that it needed a new axle or 2 and a new battery, he quickly dismissed me and told me to go somewhere else and that he would not accept it because he is too busy to work on 4 wheelers. If you do not want to be in business, then you should not promote your website as this perfect one stop shop for all your sales and service needs. I highly recommend removing this business from the BBB. Turning a customer away, over a phone call simply because it sounds difficult, does not illicit the trust that his website suggests.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,

The customer did call into the store the morning that he placed the complaint. Our service writer explained to the customer that we do not repair vehicles over 10 years old because we have had an issue getting parts for older vehicles. Not to mention the repairs on major issues typically exceed the value of the vehicle. The customer didn't know the vin number or the age of the machine at the time of the call. All he knew was that the vehicle was a Yamaha Grizzly. As he further explained the issues that the vehicle had and the previous people/mechanics that attempted repairing it our service advisor did suggest that we might not be a good fit for that type of repair. He was just being honest and transparent as many parts get lost when several people have their hands in a project. Our experience is the time it take to repair something in this condition, once it older, far out weighs the value of the machine. We actually have several machines that have been abandon at our store for this very situation. Hence our current policy on not working on machines older than 10 years old. This is a common practice in our industry for OEM dealers and has been a good thing for the smaller motorcycle and ATV repair shops in area that typically have a much lower hourly rate than an OEM dealer. I am sorry our policy and past experience has upset the customer. If the customer does get the vin number and the ATV is under 10 years old I will be happy to instruct our mechanics to take a look at repairing the machine.

    Best Regard,

    Steve

On 4-03-23 I drove over an hour away from my residence to purchase a $32,000 recreational vehicle from Freeride powersports. When I arrived the sales associate was polite and helpful. My issue is they ran my credit for the financing of the rec vehicle, which they reported to me as almost 200 points below what the three main credit reporting agencies have on file for me. So I was denied the loan for inaccurate credit score, and my credit had a hard pull ran on it only have this company not have accurate information. This company advertises on their website that they work with all credit types, I do not have bad credit. Which should constitute as false advertising when they state they can help anybody.

************ did travel to our store on 4-3-2023. We offered to pull his credit prior to him traveling an hour to our dealership but he declined. Once ************ arrived at our dealership we pulled his credit through ************ Unfortunately, the report showed some issues with prior payments and had a score lower than he anticipated. Our dealership pulls credit directly from *********** and we have no way of pulling a different score as we are dealing directly with the source. If ************ believes his score should be higher or *********** is reporting information that is inaccurate he needs to call them directly to correct the information that they have on his credit file. Additionally, we offered to send him to a bank called ********************* that will perform a soft credit pull and not affect his credit score. This bank turned down his loan application as they showed the same information that *********** was reporting. I reached out to ************ after he gave us a terrible review on social media and he never returned my email. I was going to help walk him through the process of contacting **** Union. I am not sure why we are the bad guys as we are only relaying information from ************ His anger and frustration should be directed towards them if they are reporting inaccurate information.

    Best Regards,
