    Rented ***************************************** Went to look at unit on March 6. Informed landlord we would take the place and would go ahead and pay deposit with us taking possession March 9. Landlord agreed and stated we could ho ahead and put stuff in unit that day if we wanted. Thinking nothing of it, put a laundry basket in unit and moved in on the 9th. Received a call from ****** on the 13th stating rent was not in box. Immediately called back when we were on break and stated that was not what was agreed upon. Have recording and text showing ****** was aware of plans to move in on 9th and we were paying from 9th forward on a weekly basis. All was agreed upon. We moved out Friday, 14th. We requested our deposit back and he charged us for the week rent and cleaning fee.

    The contract speaks for itself. It states that the rental period begins 6:00 AM on the 7 day of March 2025 and ends at 6:00 AM on the 13 of March 2025. The rental agreement further states that the term renews Weekly . The occupants chose of their own accord to hold over until 7:00 PM on March 14 2025 ,there by automatically renewing for an additional week.The occupants received the balance of their deposit minus the agreed upon cleaning fee . It should be noted that both occupants read the rental agreement with due care ,initialed each page and signed the rental agreement ,paid the required amount and received the key on the 7 of March 2025. I believe that if they will exhibit the copy of the rental agreement ,of which  each received a copy  the document will verify the foregoing as fully factual.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    Response needs to be this. 




    Everything was in text and also verbally agreed upon that we was only meeting you Thursday to pay for the unit because we were leaving directly after work Friday to ******** and ********  we were also paid up in the motel until Monday we made that very clear. 


    Then as we were leaving we told you that we would be back Sunday night and would bring our things then. You told us that we could leave them there no problem that no one was staying there and that it wasnt like we was it would hurt anything. Being people that still believe there are good people we obliged. two clothes hampers and two lunch boxes is what was left. We was in hotel Thursday night after paying and in our home states Friday and Saturday


    My partner even brought up the date being the 6th and  how we wasnt taking possession until the 9th. you said it was the 6th because we were paying and that you knew that we was not going to be there and it was ok. 


    Had we known your plan was to never for one second honor that we would have waited until *****pm Sunday when we arrived in ******** and paid you when we officially took over the unit. We would have demanded a new paper with the dates being of when we took the unit. 




    You also mentioned and its on contract and in text that paying by the day was also an option. 
    In fact when we discovered that you indeed charge us from the time we paid we told you that we didnt agree to that, and because of that we would pay you for a single day and then move out. 


    You then refused to meet us Friday and return our deposit saying that you didnt have time, then you was gone. 
    Inky to find out via text that you charged us an additional week that was not agreed upon out of our deposit. 
    Then after we made you aware that we was not going to agree to you taking our money you tried to not give us our deposit saying it would now be mailed. 


    We had to go as far as to meet your wife at a location off site and then had to call the local authorities and file a police report.

    The original response to the complaint was rejected. There is only one appropriate response .The rental agreement speaks for itself.Every page was initialed by both of the occupants, and signed as agreed.
