      I purchased a 2022 Kia ******** on May 26th, 2024, from Auto Maxx had to put ******* down when test driving noticed a funny noise coming from the brakes so took it back and they fixed the front brakes and said there were nothing wrong with the back brakes the grinding was just from dirt on the brakes, so it was grinded. Took it back a week later and told them I smelt something like oil leaking somewhere and when I start the truck, I was smelling a little gas driving it was rough when you take off you have to put your foot all the way down on the accelerator to accelerate. Took it back was told to make an appointment to ****************************** when I was told oil was leaking into the engine. Took it back to Auto Lab and spoke with ***** and he suggested I take it to *** ********** in ************. They also noticed oil leaking into the engine but suggested I make sure I check the oil at least once or twice a week. Found oil in the engine and tail pipes. It has been at the ********** for repairs for almost three months. I only drove it for a total of maybe 20 days. Was offered a loaner car through Auto Maxx still making payments of ****** and have not been able to drive the vehicle I purchased. I have a warranty under Auto Maxx, but Kia ********** is fixing it under there warranty. My total cost for the vehicle is almost ****** after paying it off in 4 years. Asked for a car Fax and 10-point inspection. ********************* tell *** Manager **** that they buy them from an auction and put them up for sell. If it would have been through all check points it wouldn't have been sold.

      Auto Maxx sincerely apologizes for the trouble ************ has experienced with her vehicle that was purchased April 25th, 2024.
      We make every attempt to have our pre-owned vehicles thoroughly inspected at one of several repair facilities. We do not own or operate our own repair shops so we have to resort to 3rd party mechanics.They perform inspections to our specifications and we use their expertise guidance in determining what repairs are needed. Unfortunately, these inspections are performed by human beings that sometimes make mistakes, this is why we gladly took care of the brake issue.
      The engine failure was due to a manufacturer defect in the internal components of the engine. This is something that would not have been evident two months prior when the vehicle was inspected and purchased.Thankfully it is under warranty, an extended service contract was purchased and is being fixed.
      During this time, we have provided the consumer with a loaner vehicle which we are under no obligation but happy to do.
      We anticipate the vehicle will be repaired and back to *********** in the very near future. If we had any control over the manufacturers dealership that is performing the repair we would gladly have them move faster.

      The business ran my credit 8 times after stating 5-6 I didnt want them to pull my credit. Im a first time buyer and with me also being a woman I was taking advantage of. I was told I they needed my information to see what I will get an approve me if did want to buy a car! I told the salesman I dont want you guys to run my credit he stated it will be a soft pull I get home to see he pulled it 8 times running my credit for banks approval! I called up there and talked to the manager and he apologized and also stated the guy that was helping was old and not from here he also stated that its easy to get it taken off your credit, I did it before through credit karma

      To whom it may concern. 

      In response to complaint ********. ****************** came to our dealership and filled out and signed a  credit application. She explained what she had to work with as far as a down payment and where she wanted to be for monthly payments. To be able to provide her detailed payment options we submitted her to some of our lenders for approval to be able to give her accurate payment options. We submitted it to multiple lenders to get her the best financing terms we could to fit her needs. She left the dealership without purchasing a vehicle. ****************** called us the following day to say she was no longer interested in perusing financing options or purchasing a vehicle. We stopped any attempts at that point.
