    Subject: Formal Complaint Against Attorney Elaine ********************** (License# ********* the ********************** ********************* I am filing a complaint against Attorney Elaine ********************** for her inadequate handling of my wrongful termination case with a previous employer. I hired Ms. ********************** on February 15, 2024, and despite initial optimism, her actions fell significantly short of my expectations. She positioned herself as an advocate, sharing her work on ****** **************** and our cultural connection as African Americans, which built my trust. Given my fragile mental health from my termination, I was particularly vulnerable and now feel that trust was ************. ********************** initially indicated that my case was worth pursuing, but her lack of follow-through became evident. Her communication was sporadic, often only occurring if I initiated contact. Ultimately, she advised that my case lacked merit, despite prior statements suggesting otherwise. After paying nearly $500 to consult another attorney, I was advised to have Ms. ********************** file an EEOC complaint; however, she never did, causing the filing deadline to ******* also came to my attention that Ms. ********************** has prior complaints of a similar nature (Case No. 12-71-GA), suggesting a pattern of neglect. I paid her a $1,500 retainer, but her only action was to request my HR file. She has yet to provide any refund or justify her costs, despite promising to return any unused portion. Multiple follow-up messages on October 14, November 1, and November 9 have gone unanswered.This experience has caused substantial frustration and distress. I am requesting the Attorney ******************** to investigate her lack of communication, her failure to advance my case, and her negligence in filing my EEOC complaint, which compromised my legal options and trust in her professionalism.Thank you for your attention. Please let me know if further information is needed to proceed with this complaint.
