Last January I began to notice small amounts of water seeping through my basement floor in my 94-year-old house. I thought it might be just condensation, so I ignored it until March, when the water seepage became much worse after heavy rains. I have lived here for 13 years and never had ground water seeping in before. But water always wins and I knew I couldnt ignore the problem any longer. So I searched basement waterproofing online and found MICHIGAN BASEMENTS with their 5-star stellar reviews. Their appraiser, ***** came right out to assess the problem and gave me a very comprehensive bid for the work. Because he had taken into consideration every minute detail, I signed a contract on the spot. They started the work at the beginning of August. The job took four solid days of backbreaking and thorough work by the team. They were very congenial, polite and considerate of my space and comfort. The team carefully covered my possessions, tools and equipment with heavy plastic before they began. **** was the team leader. He kept me apprised of every step of the job, showed me my new sump pump, and taught me about the battery back-up. His cement finishing skills were like something out of the Renaissance smooth like glass and absolute perfection. Each subsequent inspection brought glowing comments from the city inspectors, admiring the beautiful job. Now that its done, I couldnt be happier! And I no longer have that dreaded ******* of water in my basement hanging over my head. This has brought me more peace of mind than I have known in years. I would recommend Michigan Basements without hesitation. They supply a lifetime warranty which then transfers to any subsequent owners of the property. There are cheap and DIY solutions, but in the long run, you want the best and the most thorough. And a job like this adds to the value of your home.

The company was responsive, timely, and gave us a quick quote. We interviewed two other companies and their plan was modest and accurately defined the work that needed to be done. **** the sales person who wrote up the work order was personable, kind, and excellent at communicating. He was here on a Thursday night and the work crew arrive Monday. They said it would be two days of work and it was. ***** emailed the contract in a timely fashion and it was as we discussed with *********The reason I gave four stars, is that they did not clean up as well as I would. I cleaned for two hours after they left. I am also waiting on the paperwork for the warranty.The true review is unknown, after a heavy rain, we"ll determine if the work does what it is supposed to do,Michigan Basements

Hello ****,Thank you for the kind and honest review. The paid invoice and lifetime/transferrable warranty was emailed you on Aug 1st, 2023. I am so sorry that you spent 2 hours post production on cleaning. I did review your completion files and I do not see any debris for cleanup that would take 2 hours. Fresh concrete was poured and has to cure. It is a little difficult to sweep debris if there is any at all info the environment of wet concrete that is actively setting. I'll be happy to send you a copy of those photo if you'd like. Nonetheless, we strive to keep our clients happy from start to finish. Please let us know if we can assist in anyway.
