On 10-10-2023 Stateside Spa replaced the circulation / heat pump for our spa, and as per invoice, gave a 1 year warranty on the part. However, in October of 2024, the pump they put in, less than 1 year ago failed and needed replacing again, but **** the owner said there was no warranty, even though his previous invoice states it has a 1 year warranty. And on 10-10-23 Stateside came in to replace this pump again. We had no leaking and the other pump was working fine however, I went inside the house for a couple of minutes, and when I returned our other pump that was fine before I walked into the house was pouring water, and the tech said it needed to be replaced. So I believe he did something to cause this, as again it was fine just moments before. The tech also pinched one of the line as a short cut, instead of draining the spa to enable the removal of the line off of the circulation / heat pump so it could be replaced, and now has a crack developing superficially in it.Also this 2nd circulation / heat pump was not working right from the day it was installed, and I only got excuses from the owner, and it did fail in March of 2025. But this time I brought in another company, as clearly the pumps Stateside is using are inferior. After the new pump from ******* Spa put in, the pump was working fine no problem, and the tech said it was a bad pump, nothing that caused it on our end to ******* I again reached out to **** at Stateside, to ask for a refund as there was no way in h*** I was bringing his company to my home again considering all the issues with him. **** asked me to send him the old pump, of which I did. All he did was mail me a new pump. But I don't need a new pump as ******* Spa already put in a new one. I am asking for full price for his 10-7-24 visit for these reasons: Pump #1 and #2 within warranty - Jet pump was fine before tech touched it - tech caused damage to pump line.
