    Hi I enrolled in a debt relief program with Heartland Legal Group 5 years ago all of the debts were settled except one to ******** my original debt with all the credit cards were $****** now *************** which takes the money out of my account as I have to pay $348 for another year that will come out to almost $27,000 my original debt was ****** Heartland Legal Group told me my last payment was December 29th of 2024 and now *************** is saying I owe another 12 months till December 29th of 2025 this was supposed to help me relieve my debt at a lower amount can you help me with issue I feel like I paid my debt in full I've not missed one payment in 5 years

    I hired Heartland Legal Group over 4 years ago and have been paying them $488 a month for the entirety of that time. I hired them to arrange payment settlements for several debts and to represent me if I am sued by any of those companies. When I hired them I was told it would take about 4 years to reach a conclusion, but I am still being debited and only half my debt has been settled. I requested a copy of my payments made, money sent to collectors and fees paid to Heartland and was told they cant do that. The website does not have that information. They have not held up their end of the bargain and my credit is worse 4 years later than it was when I hired them. I am being sued by a creditor too, and am concerned because they didnt hold up to the negotiations of settlement portion of our agreement, will they hold up this part?

    I was paying these guys for debt consolidation for 4 years and they quit paying but than said it was paid in full

    This is a law firm that help people with lot of credit card debt, they help you pay less than what you owe. Me and my husband started paying them in 2019 monthly payments are 319 but they have only closed two accounts out of 5. I been calling them and all they say its the court is not closing any cases. Yet our balance keeps adding up and we are still paying them to close our accounts.

    I have been on their "program" for many years now, I can't get the specific data because the app is now giving me an error saying the link is no longer available. They did settle with most of my debt however, the last one showed the offer was accepted by One Main finacial in September for $4,366, I have paid $3269 paying them $467 per month. They currently are paying them $25 a month. Since all of their fees are taken out in advance all of that money should be going directly to ******************* I should have only had to make payment until June. They still have it showing that they will continue to take my payments after that time. I have tried to call them on 4/22/24 waiting on the line for one hour and then again on 4/29/24 waiting on the line for 2 hours and 8 minutes and again today for 1/2 hour.

    Heartland Legal Group I hired at the start of Covid and my job loss to help reduce credit debt. Over three years later they have not fulfilled that arrangement. I could have done a better job handling this myself, almost no communication in the three years. No representation as they said would happen if I was served with papers. A complete Joke. I called today (6/17/24) and after waiting for two hours on hold my call was taken. Only to find out that they are not actively trying to settle my case. When asked why, the reply was because of a loss of revenue. While this conversation was going on on googled Heartland Legal Group Lawsuit, Heartland is being being sued in a Class Action, so they aren't doing a thing for anyone. BEWARE OF HEARTLAND LEGAL GROUP. Hopefully I receive my funds in escrow back or I'll be contacting an attorney as well.

    I have been with this group since 2020. I had 6 credit cards I have consolidated and have all paid off. As far as I know. Except 1 still left to be negotiated. I believe it's 5800. I have not been able to get on the website. Nobody answers phone and I have been on Hold for up to 4 hours. No call back. No contact. I need in my account. I don't want to get summoned for my last debt. I've worked really hard. I am now worried that all my money has not been paid on my debts and I'm worse off than I was. This is traumatizing. Scam? How do I go about this. I see money is still taken out monthly.

    We used Heartland Legal Group as a consolidation for our debt. They settled two and have left two with out finishing the job. I know there is a legal battle but have no idea if we are part of it or what is happening. They have stopped communicating in all forms, including locking me out of my account to see any paperwork.
