This company deserves a zero not even a one-star. Firstly they offer business to shady dealerships who take young people Hungry for vehicles for granted. Dealers know the difference between a person with longevity at a job and someone who just wants to put money down for a car. Don't get me wrong I understand how this all works. But the car has been repossessed and the company takes the person to court for the outstanding balance. The Credit Union never makes official contact before all of this. They don't answer the phone in an attempt to settle the dispute. Then the dealership stopped responding. The court issued a Dismissal and then seven years later they came back saying the amount due is 11 thousand for a 8 thousand dollar car. They involve a third party to collect the debt and attach it to a lawyer in a way to bully you for the money. This company needs an investigation. And need to go out of business.

I just recently started accounts with Lake Trust - within the last month. My accounts were LOCKED out last week without a call from the Credit Union. The rep ********************* in the ********** acted like there wasn't a care in the world this morning. He said they didn't know where the money was being transferred from! Any money transferred into my account was being transferred from what was going to be my old credit union and they could see that as well as the fact I connected that credit union account with this one. Needless to say I am leaving Lake Trust after this debacle and the fact that they can't even pick up a **** phone and call someone! They don't even deserve the 1 star.
