    better get quote in writing! do not accept verbal quote. was told right around $300 and when I to pick up it was $433.56! I went back to ask them how we got from $300 to over $400 and they said that they were having help problems up front? Labor for water pump impeller and thermostat should be 2 hours according to trade standards. They hit me for 2 1/2 hours. Motor run fine just had cooling issue. they put new spark plugs in, plugs that were in there I put in and had only run motor once on them. No way they were bad. the boat motor run fine as I never complained to them about not running good?? So what they are saying is that because the person that gave me the verbal quote quit that I should eat the difference. I would have not had the work done if the quote came in verbally at $433.56. I am very disappointed with the run around. Did not get bad parts back and was told that they do not use cheap parts . Box for thermostat reads made in ****** which was left in boat. I am not happy with their mistrust! Started out I called them and asked how much to put water pump in and they said $150 so I dropped boat off. They called me and said that the thermostat is bad and needs to be replaced. So I asked what will the total be for pump and thermostat and they told me around $300 so I said OK.
