    I hired Surface Experts of Grand Rapids to do a small tub repair. 2 pits and a scuff on the front rim of the tub. approx 12" apart on all.. Mr Lemmon, owner was sending their tech Olivia and I asked how long she was with the Co. and he replied 1 yr and I hesitated. He assured me, she had gone through training and would do a very good job. When she arrived I ask her if I could watch and she said "YES" of course as she was putting her chemicals on my son's new floor without protection, I instantly supplied her with plastic to lay on the floor and at that time I asked her how long has she been working with the company and her reply was 3 months! She proceeded to repair the holes and scuff marks pointing out how the process works, sanding, color matching etc. because I had NO idea how the process works. She started to spray the paint and I was asked to leave the area because of the resin. After she got done I asked her about the over spray on the the inside of the tub, tub enclosure, faucet, overflow, drain that was covered with paint and resin and the debris throughout the tub and the area that she just finished and her response was you just can't get around some of that. She then explained how to clean off the over spray. When she went to leave I in GOOD FAITH gave her a check for the job thinking someone would come look at the job so when I called the Co. sent pics and I got accused of putting pin holes and messing with her work. I then sent a video of the job showing the whole rim of the tub requesting them to come look at it tomorrow. The owners response was he talked to the Tech and None of her photos, my photos and video reveal neglect/improperly done and they would not be able to accommodate a visit the next day but can consider a stop in when in the Muskegon area. I went to my financial bank and put a stop payment on the check and told them not to cash it. The owner also Falsely accused me of critiquing her work and treated his tech without Re guard.
