Poor communication with clients, unprofessional, technician sent was potentially unqualified to correct commercial kitchen plumbing health code violation issues.

I am hopeful I was able to resolve all of your concerns through our communications together, as well as getting the health department's approval for the work we conducted for you. If we did, I would like to ask you to reconsider this review, as it may have been a bit premature in nature, as we were actively working through your project when the review was initially submitted. This company did not do its due diligence and determine whether it could complete the job. Our internal house fan wore out. They were contracted through the Home Protection Service. It took them 2 months to determine that they were not equipped to finish the job, they took $460 in fees plus the $100 deductible for Home Protection. They did not show up for their scheduled appointment, we had to call our son from Kalamazoo to bring the heavy replacement parts inside the house twice because we could not leave it sitting in the rainy weather. The fan was replaced eventually but they could not install the cover, they just put the old cover back which was damaged during removal and the slats were stuck closed. We cannot use the fan in this condition and they claimed they did not have the technical skill to complete the job. According to Home Protection paperwork, carpentry was one of the included services, but they claimed that carpentry was not part of their skill set. Someone showed up with paperwork attesting that the job was complete. We refused to sign. We asked for a refund since the job was not complete and were refused. We would like everyone to know not to do business with this company, they are careless and unprofessional.Whitney Services

This company does not follow local permit requirements even though told by local official that they are required to apply for the permits. After the fact they say the homeowner is required to do the application. Now they want to charge me both for the permit and for the cost to bring their work up to code. A very low business practice!!Whitney Services

We've had electricians from Whitney Services come to our house twice. Both times they were experienced, great electricians. They diagnosed the problems quickly and made the necessary repairs. We will definitely use them again when we need an electrician.Whitney Services
