    I engaged the services of Quality Paving on April 30, 2022. The job looked good at first. Three hours afterward, my garage was on fire. The damage was caused by a ******* using a torch to fuse the edges because the asphalt was not applied properly. After the asphalt had settled two days later, depressions appeared. Following the insurance settlement through Allstate, with damages of $43,000, I contacted *************************** on May 28th and told him of the flaws, and sent pictures. He denied seeing any problems. In one of his Email, he indicated that the policy was to return **** months to apply a surface coat. In another Email, he stated that he submitted a work order for this. October was the expected time for the work to be done. **************** reiterated the promise in September, then a week later said his company was no longer offering the service and he failed to engage a subcontractor to do the necessary work. He then referred me to three source, all returning to his own company. Nothing was resolved. This was when the warranty was still in effect, and in essence was a breach of contract.It was important to correct the flaws since the depressions hold water and pose a slip and fall hazard when ice forms in the winter. This is why it was important to have this done in October since the only months when this work can be done are October and April, weather permitting. And since the job was done on April 30th of last year, it was important that the work be done as soon as possible. This did not happen, the warranty was violated and I am seeking a refund of the $6,500.00 paid for a substandard asphalt job.
